I first ate here almost 30 years ago. Whenever I had friends in town, I’d alway make the trek to Roscoe. I honestly can’t tell you how many times I’ve enjoyed a meal after a long day up in the mountains. 25 years ago I joined the Navy, and often missed eating at this amazing place. A little over a year ago I was fortunate enough to be dropping my daughter off for her freshman year at Montana State. We drove up over the Beartooth pass and had dinner at the Grizzly Bar. Even though ownership has changed hands since I first ate there all those years ago, the place is still amazing!

Love this place! The atmosphere log cabin back woods feel was cool. The steaks were tender and baked potato cooked perfect. Felt it was worth the drive from Red Lodge about 20 mins down the road. Make reservations! Will go again when I return.

Our family of 12 went here bc we heard great things about it. We were not impressed. Food/steak was not seasoned very much and my husband had to send his back. He asked for med well and it came out bloody and raw by bone. Usually he will eat it but it was too undercooked for him and asked for it to be done more. It was brought back within 5 minutes and it was not much better considering it was a tomahawk and it's going to take longer than that. He didn't bother saying anything again. Not all the food was bad but we heard nothing but great things about steak and was excited to try. Very let down. Especially when our family of 4 was $400. We don't have a problem spending the money but would like to enjoy the food for the price. Our waitress was great and patient. Even though she was not feeling the best. Cute atmosphere.
