I have visited for dinner twice now, both experiences were fantastic. Roundup is lucky to have a spot like this!

Took a late afternoon break in Roundup returning to Billings. Probably the best Americano ever and the pastries were like what's seen in Europe. Staff was friendly and welcoming as could be.

We stopped at The Back Porch for breakfast while passing through Roundup and were blown away. The food is true homemade cooking. The pancakes were some of the best we’ve had, especially with the house-made honey butter.

The service was fast, friendly, and attentive.

If you’re near Roundup, this place is a must-stop. Local charm and fantastic food.

I tried 4 of the 5 meats and the brisket and ribs were dryer than the turkey! I couldn't swallow the meat without lots of tea and sauce. I was shocked because I had breakfast there and it was fantastic. I can't believe I was served BONE DRY MEAT!

Great bbq, the sandwich was awesome, meat was flavorful and most enough didn't even need extra sauce, though they have a few sauces, nachos were great, great bbq baked beans and combination of toppings.

Okay folks I'm not sure what is going on with this place but wow. Time to get it together. Place is the same other than good and server need a little help. 2x time in two days came in for breakfast. Day one total mess up on our order and food not cooked right at all. Today ordered again and server didn't listen our food arrived for 2 people on 1 plate. She sat at a table and visited with other employees.

Just stopped here on our way through town, super glad we did. Food was really good and the portion sizes were huge and priced really well for what eating out costs these days. 10/10 would recommend and we plan on stopping if we ever make it that way again.

The decor was good. But the food is what makes the place. Me and my mom went and had breakfast there and it was horrible. The pancakes were flat like a piece of paper and didn't taste good. My moms potatos were a little dry and they weren't crispy at all. I won't ever go there again. Considering that there was only one person at the place on a Saturday, you know it's not a good place to eat. The service was horrible as well. We didn't get our food for 45 minutes. They were all on there phones when we were waiting for our food and for a refill of coffee. The only thing good was the carrot cupcake. That's the only thing I'll eat from there again.

Took over 40 minutes to get our order and it wasn’t busy. Server acted like she was mad at us and even got our order wrong. Brisket was cold and 4 sandwiches with fries = $82.

I've always tried to support our local restaurants but this has to be said.
1 The quality and ingredients need to be the consistent. The taco's used to be amazing and a good value. Tonight's order was no sweet corn, bitter cabbage chopped large, rather than finely cut and the queso cheese that was similar to parmasean and no diced tomatoes and onions.
2. I go to a restaurant for peace and eat a good meal. Not to listen and see unattended children endlessly running around. I've seen better oversight by parents at the Westend Walmart in Billings.
3. Drop the music level down a notch and my order might be correct. Fifty three minutes from the time from ordering to the table. That's a staffing issue!
