The lady who served us was super sweet! Very attentive. They serve loooots of cheese which I didn’t care for. Had a great variety of menu. Felt pretty pricy for hash browns that felt like they were precut frozen from the store and pancakes also seemed like premade pancake mix from the box. It was fun but probably wouldn’t be my first choice.

This cafe has gone down over the years. Everytime we go there, there is something wrong with some one's food in our group. The hamburger patty is like eating leather and don't ever order anything with roast beef unless you want jerky. This used to be a good place to eat but wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Lucky there isn't the option of no stars, otherwise that is what I would rate this place. We tried this place again. It was awful. Service was horrible. Tried their taco soup. Not sure how taco soup has no flavor but this absolutely had no flavor. Blinds were dirty. I asked for lemon for my water and the waitress brought me a bowl of lemon pieces and told me to take as many as I wanted using my fingers. She proceeded to put that bowl back in the cooler. 😬 Don't waste your time or money here. Health dept needs to make an unexpected visit. Very sad!

I came here with my husband and two of his family members. Some family used to come here many years ago and enjoyed it so we wanted to give it a shot. The food isn't super great though my brother-in-law thoroughly enjoyed the homemade onion rings and cheeseburger. I ordered a French dip and asked for Swiss because it doesn't come with it. The cheese and bun was cold so I asked for it to be microwaved. Truthfully, I didn't enjoy it.
My mother-in-law had the worst experience. She ordered the biscuits and gravy with a hamburger steak. The gravy wasn't good at all and the hamburger tasted rusty and old, like it had been sitting out or was expired. She told the waitress about it and she didn't really say anything about it and just got us some refills. Her attitude completely changed and she ignored us while we waited for our tickets. My husband had to go up to the counter and reach for our ticket to grab her attention. My mother-in-law was expected to pay for her meal despite not eating it at all. She had to ask for it to be removed from her ticket.
This is the type of place you really hope you'll find when you're far from home. Very friendly people, and very good fresh food. The portions are huge and everything came out hot and fresh. If you're anywhere near here stop in and eat. You won't be sorry and this is the type of place we should all want to keep in business.

Wow. Dusty & his staff were incredible! We arrived with a group of 18 people, that included 10 kids under 8 yrs old and from the second we walked in, we were treated like family and instantly felt comfortable! We were guided back to our own private room and were given phenomenal service! They really over- delivered! Food portions were VERY large and everything we had was pretty phenomenal! Especially the onion rings, bison burger, & huckleberry cheesecake! Stopping at this small town joint was honestly one of the highlights of our trip because of how we were treated! We loved it here and will definitely go out of our way to return again next time we are passing through this area of Montana!

This little place was SOOOOO good! We came in with a huge group of 10 kids and 8 adults for dinner and they didn’t even bat an eyelash to help us. They were so accommodating to us. The service was excellent!! The food was freaking delicious! We all sampled each others and everything was amazing! Special shoutout to the chicken fried steak dinner, buffalo burger, onion rings, taco salad and chicken bacon ranch wrap!! Can’t wait to try more in the future! Thanks Old Timer Cafe!
