I was sorely disappointed in the place because of the rave reviews I got from the locals. Not to say it had bad food. Just that it was mediocre in food and décor. The service was good, with a quick menu, ordering and serving of the food. I ordered the Montana Club sandwich which was fine, except I could have made it myself. I asked for well-done fries because I like my fries crispy. I was told they would be “because they are fries”. But half of the order was soggy. The prices were as you would expect from a bar, in the teens for the meals. So the meal would have been fine if I didn’t have such high expectations.

With a lack of dining options in the immediate area of our hotel, we decided on the Montana Club which seemed to have a decent menu (for a bar). They'd just opened for the day (5pm) and were very patient and friendly with us out-of-towners. Had a couple beers, a crispy chicken sandwich with fries and a plate of chicken strips with fries. They were bright red as they were breaded in crushed doritos/cheetos

Everyone talks about the ribeye—they aren’t lying. I had it on the steak salad. Sooooo good. No knife needed! Enjoyed a cold Rainier in a bottle to round out my meal.
Kid-friendliness: It’s a bar, so expect a bar atmosphere—not a place for kids.
