We have been traveling for 2 months out west. We always have a cold beer in the oldest bar in town. We walked into the Sump Saloon yesterday and had the best time!!! Sandy is by far the best bartender we have encountered. She is fun, witty, outgoing and you feel like you’ve known her for years!! Everyone at the bar were locals and so fun and friendly!! I could have stayed all day!! If we are ever in Sheridan again, this will be our first stop to see our new friends.

It's just a small town bar, but OMG are the burgers good. Locally raised beef, never frozen, all the toppings, cooked right in front of you! Don't expect fancy! Only 2 other items on the menu and your only side is chips.Clean, pool table and you can stay the night upstairs.(For me to say the burgers are good means something. I DON'T like burgers)

Just a good old fashioned home town bacon cheeseburger, I mean perfectly cooked nothing fancy or obnoxious. Would def recommend eating here if you happen to he in Sheridan or passing thru!
