My pregnant wife and I have been traveling to Sidney once a month since March and every week of October/November(since our due date is nov). We have eaten at meadowlark every trip because we enjoy the food but have continuously had issues with the service. The service issues have been tolerable(empty drinks, missing parts of order, rudeness) but today we’ve decided to no longer eat at this restaurant. My wife was halfway through her meal when she scooped up a long blond hair which couldn’t be ours because we are Native American with dark hair. We understand that hair is a common issue in the food business and that a hair in our food isn’t a threat to my wife’s health or our unborn baby’s health but we also expect this common issue to have a reasonable resolution, especially for the frequent customers that we have become. We sat there for nearly ten minutes contemplating whether to let it go and not say anything or address the feeling of queasiness my pregnant wife was experiencing. We decided to bring it to the attention of our waitress and asked for a 50% refund on her meal since she had only eaten half and would not continue to eat. To my disappointment, the waitress said she “didn’t have the authority to give a refund but will try to knock off a few dollars”. I sent her with my debit card and when I received the receipt, I found $1.50 was reduced from our $50 bill. I try to present myself in a respectful manner when visiting neighboring towns but this incident might have called for a more asset demeanor due to the unsatisfactory result.

Very slow service. It's gotten to the point where Meadowlark is as slow as the Rod Iron.

I have visited a couple of times now. Most recently, as part of a family gathering. I sampled two of the beer flavors - American Harvester (cream ale)and Magic Hobo Monkey (strong IPA). Found them both to be of very good quality and taste. They were distinct, which I don't always find at smaller breweries, as often the beer selections might have a similar taste. We had a group of over 20, and there were a good number of other guests. Our server did an excellent job in taking care of us. We were on the second floor, and she had to make multiple trips while we were there. Our food was good quality and flavor, but a bit cool. I don't think that would happen if you were part of a smaller group. All in all, a spot worth visiting if in the area. I will definitely be back.

We were enjoying a beer and pretzel. 3/4 of the way into the pretzel, we noticed a fly baked into the pretzel. when the waitress came to ask if we wanted a to go box, we showed her the fly, she wrinkled her nose and said eww and took the plate. She came back to give us the bill. Never asked if we wanted anything else or another beer. We told her we would pay the full ticket since she didn’t comp anything. She then stated. “ I didnt Cook it, I merely served it to you” But then stated, I didn’t see a fly. Then stated. You ate most of it so yiu need to pay for it, Lisa I didn’t see a fly.” Lots of contradicting statements. Reached out to owner without a response. Didn’t appreciated a fly baked into the pretzel or lack of understanding or customer service!

Ordered French Dip, side salad. Beef was not sliced but chipped strips? Different but tasty. Bread really fresh, au jus very salty. Service ok, pleasant but not present. Ordered a Black Steer's Tookus. Found it to be an good oatmalt stout. Modern, dark clean decor. Love the 'Head of the Table' seating.

I haven't been to meadowlark in years since I moved away. We came on a Saturday, plenty of open tables, for a birthday lunch with a friend. Our service was really lack and I can only speak for myself but my food was just so/so. Went so long without water/refill for my drink as well as several other girls at the table.

Staying in Sidney for the night and needed something to eat. This seemed like a good bet so I stopped by. There was another group seated at a table and a few people sitting at the bar. There was one young guy at the bar who seemed like he'd had a few of the house made beers already and he seemed a bit fidgety. He ended up drawing my attention to a long hallway just to the left of the bar because a couple different times he walked down that way. Maybe that's where the restrooms are? But then it seemed like one of the servers would follow him and that maybe they were having some drama. Then he came back and sat alone at a table near the bar and the server was back and fourth to the table and then having a little sidebar (literally to the side of the bar) with another employee. Anyway, sorry for the long introduction, sometimes I like to try to give an idea what it felt like to be in a place. My server was not as young (not calling her old) as the ones that seemed caught up in the drama. She came over promptly and got my drink order. I got an IPA, Badlands, it was very good. Later I ordered a Teddy Roosevelt, American Badass, an Imperial Wheat IPA, I really liked this one!To eat I got the French Dip. For the price I was pretty disappointed in the size. It had approximately the same footprint as a pizza pocket. Okay maybe a little bigger than that, but not by much. I picked both options, cheese and onions & peppers. Ended up not getting the peppers. Each option was an additional $1 bringing the price of the sandwich to $18. I don't normally complain about quantity vs cost, as I feel quality/flavor should be the biggest driving factor in price, this was a bit extreme. The flavor was good enough, the Au Jus was nice. Even though the bread was a bit small it worked well for the sandwich. Soaked up the Au Jus well without falling apart. My server was pretty awesome and honestly I was traveling alone and I enjoyed the show with the younger staff and their relationship drama. If the sandwich hadn't been abnormally small I would have given them 5 stars. This is a small town and I think Meadowlark Brewery is a great addition!

Really great selection of beers here. Waitstaff very nice. A nice selection of burgers. Food is fairly pricey, as is all food in sidney.

this place used to be great. Eating out is so expensive now a days and with that my expectations and standards have also gone up. Maybe it was an off night but this place needs work. the appetizer dip was cold, not heated thoroughly and the chips that came with to dip were literal crumbs with a few normal size chips, literal bottom of the chip bag. disappointing for the price you pay for an appetizer. Fish tacos I had were ok. Husband said his burger was dry as a bone, it was clearly over cooked just by looking at it, and the beer cheese sauce piled on top looked absolutely unappetizing. The apparent hand cut fries were probably the only plus but even they needed a longer fry as they were pretty limp. It’s so easy to make good food, I don’t understand how restaurants do it so poorly.

We were greeted by someone behind the bar across the room who told us to seat our selves at our reserved table. After waiting an hour our food came out cold before the appetizer.(asked for appetizer to be cancelled and remove from bill) The server came to our table more times than our waitress even after we cancelled the appetizer. The food did have good flavor, just make sure you order a cold dish? Our waitress was pretty unconcerned about our report of cold food. Very disappointed with our food and service.

Definitely not what it used to be. My burger was over cooked, I was never asked how I would like it cooked, it was the color of cement when I bit into it. The owners should really read these reviews and make some improvements, 70 dollars for two people to eat meh food is a joke, I'll go to McDonald's next time because at least I know what I'm getting and it'll only cost me ten bucks

Popped in here for some food, which was very tasty indeed. The bar and waiting staff were super friendly (kayla, and the two Maddison's) They are a credit to your Establishment!
