We miss Char the bingo Caller on Wednesday nights! Honestly the only reason I ever went to Dels was to see her! Otherwise I would have to say everything thing is basically mid… pretty much what you would expect from a dive bar.
Great food and service
Taylor in the casino was awesome

I was served by jenie and had the best time. She is a customer service Rockstar and recommended the buffalo wings which did not disappoint. They are huge perfectly fried meaty wings and filled me up just right. Best in lake county for sure. I had some beer and gambled a little bit, even though I didn't win I had such a great time. Jeanie is a superstar bartender and dels bar isa fantastic place to go. Also the gentleman next to me had spaghetti which I guess is apparently famous here and he woofed it!!! Looked so delicious.

Sue in the kitchen is the very bestest ever! She made our anniversary amazing!!!!! Thank you Susie!!!!
Might look love a dive, but they have the best fried chicken and Pizza around, bar none. The chef, Joshua, is a Michelin star rated chef, and does an incredible lobster bisque and ribeye special, and all sorts of other excellent specials.
The casino has the cutest casino runners around, who all provide great service and company. It's my favorite place to go relax, and chat with all the awesome regulars. Stasia is a great manager, and runs a tight ship- Dels is arguably the cleanest bar around, and the service is always top notch!
Kid-friendliness: It's a bar, with girly pics in the men's room, people drinking, etc. Don't bring bratty kids, they wreck any atmosphere. If your kids are obedient and well-behaved, they're always welcome in the restaurant. If not, please keep them home until you learn how to discipline them, and train them to be nice humans!

It might be a wait for the fried chicken but so worth it. Best fried chicken we’ve ever eaten.

I think Del’s deserves the 4.4 rating average, perhaps even a bit higher. I used to live in the area and now am a frequent visitor. Quite frankly, I never set foot in this place until a few years ago and instantly thought: “Hmm. Why didn’t I come here sooner and when I was living in the area?” Appreciate that my brother introduced me to it.
Yes, it is a local hangout. Then again, what would you expect in a town the size of Somers? And it is one of the few places to hang out in Somers, since the days of Tiebuckers are long gone. Your nearest other options? Go to Lakeside (Tamarack is good, if a bit more expensive). Go to Kalispell (Moose’s remains a great option). Or go to Bigfork (and to the Garden Bar, unless you want to get smothered in that kitschy “old town” feel that almost strains to seem authentic but is less and less so, now that Showtime—a genuinely good restaurant that served as a great follow-up to the legendary Seastar—is long shuttered, the Bigfork Inn is under new ownership and closed for the foreseeable future).
Where was I? Oh, yes, Del’s. Never had a bad experience here. The bartenders and servers have been great. Place is authentically quirky. Drinks are reasonably priced. Food as well, if you factor in that everything has gone up in price in the last few years. If you like lots of cheese, the pizza is a good option. Apps like the curds and fried pickles are perfectly fine. Thing is, the servings are great relative to what you might get at a lot of other similar places both inside the Flathead and outside. They have no issue with loading your plate with fries. Salads, though they might vary from the description on the menu, are always generous. The ribeye sandwich is a bargain given my experience with other places that serve a similar item. And the pork chop sandwich deserves its own website. The thing is a monster! It is a basic sandwich done really, really well.
There is indoor and outdoor seating. The ordering system, not uncommon, means you find your place to sit and then you order at the bar. There is also the obvious topic: the men’s bathroom. It is, well, a throwback to a non-PC era in almost every way. You got little kids? Might want to spot check the bathroom before they enter or expect a need to have a few conversations about the art, both pelt and pictorial! The place can get very busy at peak hours during the summer months. In other instances, I haven’t found an issue with grabbing a seat and a drink and/or food.
Seriously, with a local place, I can understand a few off nights and a few less than pleasant experiences. But some of you seem to be straining. Dylan, if you waited for 3.5 hours for chicken, I think you need to rethink your approach to things. Jill, as a local, you waited for 2.5 hours for a to-go order, had some snacks and fries . . . and what? Drew and Kalis, also locals, you seem to have some very particular beefs with this place. I am sure they have nothing to do with how you act, right? The One leaves a one-star review, even if his breakdown suggests it should be higher by at least a star or two . . . and then complains about the beer prices!?!? I mean, I get it. It feels good. But, as I often say, some reviews are about the reviewers and not the place they are reviewing. Just glad you got to scratch that quick-itch and make your views known. Hugs and kisses.
When I am in the area, I will keep coming back. I really enjoy the place, the food, and the drinks. Oh, and Mark, if you slam a business for being a “locals only” place, keep this idea in mind: maybe, just maybe, you walked in and acted like being a local is a bad thing or acted like you were supposed to be an honored guest. Neither thing is true. So, you don’t need to “know someone.” Nope. You kinda need to know yourself and maybe pivot when it comes to places and spaces with which you aren’t familiar. Just saying.
Recommended.

Born and raised in somers and often at dels. At least until most recent visit when “manager” and another bartender were incredibly rude. Hounding us about age despite entire group being of age and not ordering any drinks. After paying wo tip manager was flabbergasted and insisted we tipped despite 0 star service. She also made a comment about group being from out of town. Will never go back.

This is a locals only bar. If you are not from here, expect really poor service. We couldn’t get served at all and the place was only half full. Finally just left. Things were moving but not super busy and others were having a good time. At one point I was trying, politely, to get the attention of one of the bartenders and she just turned and walked away. Completely bizarre. I absolutely will not waste my time on this place ever again. Otherwise it seems like it might be a good spot if you know someone.
While driving around Flathead lake pulled into Somers area found this hole in the wall bar. Great atmosphere very friendly staff welcoming when entering. Seat yourself and grab a menu as you walk past the bar. Once ready to order head up to the bar order here sign. The staff are very friendly and helpful with orders. Prompt service once ordered. The video is very beach/road house on vacation. There are VLT gambling machines, pool table and an outside bar area with lots of tables.
Parking: Parking was good plenty of room for a large truck. There was lots of trucks and I still had room to park.
Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome no issues. Men’s bathroom does have some PG pictures up but all and all nothing excessively bad.

Waited 3 1/2 hours for chicken. 1 1/2 hours past the given wait time. Watched multiple tables order chicken and served chicken after our order was already placed. Owner wouldn't do anything for us. Was told we needed two cards for two drinks while multiple others where getting 5 at time on the first order with 1 ID. Bartender also served multiple others at the bar who arrived after us. It seemed everyone else had great service but us. Owner wouldn't compensate us at all.
