Made a quick pit stop in here on my way to Missoula. Had the bartender whip up cocktail from back in my college days and shared it with the other patrons at the bar. Chill local vibe. Great atmosphere. Very friendly. Ask the young lad behind the bar to make you a nuclear meltdown!

Really sweet young lady who served us our lunch. I asked for no butter on my hamburger bun and they did so. The dinning area and bar is small, but the food is served quickly and it was delicious. So tables turn over is pretty quick. Looks like a local crowd. The menu has a nice variety of lunch choices. You can have alcohol with your meal if you desire. Prices are decent. This is in Thompson Falls, Montana as you enter the town right beside the Thompson River.

I ordered A few French dip sandwiches to go. I brought him home to everybody. They were on little tiny rolls. I called up and they said they ran out of the bread that’s only had. I told him they could’ve told me I could’ve ordered something else. It was embarrassing for my guest. They did nothing to compensate me for the shitty food. I called the manager or maybe it was the owner. It’s a chain restaurant out of Colorado. It’s not even a local place. And he was very rude. I’ll never go back and I will never tell any of my friends to go there. Plus, it was expensive, and the food was microwaved.

If you are in Thompson Falls, Montana stop by Big Eddy’s for good food and great, friendly service. I strongly recommend the onion rings, they were delicious and the best I’ve had in a long time. This spot is right on the river with both indoor and outdoor seating. The view is amazing and the staff is great.
Stopped by for some food on the way home from the huckleberry festival and I can't say enough good things about this place food was amazing service was good best burger I've had in a long time

Sad to say I've had my last meal at Big Eddy's, I have given this establishment 2 tries, and both were bad experiences. Does the owner actually care about this business? Providing good service is crucial to keep customers returning, and that has been a challenge. Hopefully things change, but thats just a hope for a small business in Thompson Falls. Good luck

Very nice small town restaurant. They have an outdoor sitting area that is pet friendly with nice views of the river. Waiter and manager were super friendly. The food was served fast and tasted wonderful. Definitely recommend the huckleberry mule.
