Iron Horse Cafe & Pie Shop

Unfortunately, a veteran owned and run establishment is on its last lap. Our food was barely cooked, yet somehow cold. We didn't have modifications, just ordered from the options of fries and sauces and nothing was correct. They fixed it by the time we were done eating.
They have cut the hours of operation by 4 hours and have officially put the business and building up for sale and service has tanked. The pies are outsourced from a local Lady and are outstanding! So, if you're in it for pie and coffee consider this a 5 star rating.

If you don’t come here it’d be a mistake . Pie pie pie , but not some fancy pie , just pie made by people that know what’s going on . Loved the bourbon pecan , could be the best I’ve ever had . Period. Sorry we were in a hurry we are road tripping Montana , much to see

Fabulous stop. The food is unique and delicious, the staff is kind and attentive, and the pie is TOP NOTCH!! I have Would recommend to anyone looking for a eclectic hidden treasure off Interstate 90.

The turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich was amazing! The side salad was excellent too. Very, very friendly waitress.

Can't think of one complaint for this place. Came here with my boyfriend and some of his family and the staff here was extremely friendly and patient with our large group despite there only being one waitress. Food was delicious. Took some apple butter pie home and can understand how they got their best pie awards 🥧😋 This was a memorable part of my trip to Montana 🏔

Wry good pies and most come gluten free option. We tried pecan, peach and key time . Also decaffeinated coffee was so good.

I hate to give this place a bad rating but the appears to be a staffing problem all over Montana. Billings, Bozeman all close early or are only open 4 days a week and all hiring. So please give this place a break as they suffer from it also obviously. When I was there people walked out because they
could not get their food timely the place was full and people kept coming cause the food was good. Please have patience if you go there. Thank you

Our waitress was so sweet and the owner was phenomenal. She gave us complimentary clam chowder and pie for my Grandmother's 80th birthday. Everything was cooked to order and fresh, so delicous. 10/10 experience.
