One of the best restaurants in Montana. Service is a little unpolished but the food and atmosphere is top notch.

Three Forks fine dining is what this place is all about. Very top-notch and exclusive. Our excellent server, Joseph, was all about stories of experience, travel and longevity. A truly fascinating individual, whose stories about his experiences only enhanced the exceptional cuisine here at the Sacajawea Hotel. He was very knowledgeable about the history, the chefs and folklore.

Every detail was addressed. Not a spoon out of place. Even the dinner bread came with three different spreads. We tasted the beet salad, the chips and caviar, the bison ribs, scallops and lamb rack. Everything was presented artfully and proudly.
As the place got busy, the service dwindled, but was extremely detailed non less.
There were details I had never seen before, like the illuminated menus and illuminated signature board for behind your final check. They even had some multi-packs of custom toothpicks.

An exceptional evening.

I was taken to dinner here last night. What a beautiful experience. From the moment you enter the lobby of the hotel...WOW!!! It is gorgeous. Declicious cocktails at the bar and then dinner. Andrew was delightful and looked after us so well. The food was delicious. Bison short ribs and rack of lamb. The potato chips with caviar and creme fraiche to start. Pompey, you need to sell those potato chips in bags. We will be back!!!! Thank you for a beautiful evening.

We had the best dinner at Pompey's Grill with friends and family! Can't recommend this place enough! The food was absolute perfection, the service was immaculate, and the memories were many. We had the short rib and the cajun pasta! The short rib was the best short rib I've had and pasta was 10 out of 10 as well! Such fun memories at this place! Great for family or business or parties!

Had a delightful meal, steak special was amazing, husband had the cod special with a lovely pea and pistachio puree. Service was 5 star with Alfredo. Add that to the atmosphere of the charming Sacajawea Hotel and it is a 5 star experience.

I've eaten here before and the food has always been great with normal portions for an entree. I wanted to try something different so I ordered the scallops this time. Don't get me wrong, they are delicious, but I am very disappointed with the fact that the restaurant is advertising this dish as a $43 entree. This dish contained 3 small sized scallops and a portion of rice that my 4 year old niece could easily eat. I'm left wondering where the meal I paid for went, so I call the restaurant and they flat out told me that that dish is a notoriously small serving compared to the other entrees on the menu. I'm pretty disappointed and confused as to what I just paid for...

We travel extensively and stopped in for a cocktail. Tried to be friendly with the woman bartender and she was very unfriendly, in fact, rude. Still, we tipped her and when we got the card statement she doubled the tip. We are contacting the management and asking for the difference credited back. When the service sucks = small or no tip. When great = very large tip. Tipping today is getting to be a joke !

Annie was our waitress and she was amazing! Her detailed descriptions of the menu was spot on. My wife and I heard another waiter who made it sound generic. Everything she said was accurate and delicious! We will be back.
Thank you Pompey's for a wonderful evening!

Our regular anniversary dinner at Pompey’s Grill is always perfect! Accommodating and amazing. Its easy to set up a reservation online. Sharon was our waitress and she is still fabulous at her job. Their long island ice tea was very good. All 5 of us in the group were very happy with our experience! Its worth your while.

The shrimp on the shrimp cocktail weren't fully cooked. The mushroom masala on the meatballs was good, but the meatballs were under seasoned, and pink in the middle. Meatballs should be cooked thoroughly, so should shrimp. Risotto was also undercooked and grainy. There was literally raw rice kernels in the dish.

Everything was great except for a lady walking around with a crying baby. I understand that baby's cry. We have four kids. We don't walk around a nice restaurant with our baby crying. When I say, " Walk around," she walks from the bar side around the whole restaurant threw the tables with the baby crying. It kind of puts a damper on your anniversary dinner. Our server was very friendly and very attentive.
