The Sacajawea Hotel is a historic establishment that offers a unique and cozy lodging experience. Upon arrival, guests receive champagne and a lavender hand towel, and for an additional charge, a s'mores packet. The rooms are on the smaller side, with a full-size bed, small nightstands, an armoire, and a TV. The bathrooms are updated and equipped with amenities such as bathrobes. Despite the room size, the lobby is spacious and features comfortable seating areas, as well as a porch for fair weather.
Breakfast is a continental affair, served on the second floor, with a variety of options including hard-boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and various Torani syrup flavorings for coffee. The hotel's location is convenient, close to Bozeman, which boasts one of the best museums in the U.S. and a plethora of restaurants.
The hotel also features a restaurant and bar combination in the basement, serving cold drinks and delicious hot food. While the rooms may be older and in need of some updates, such as shower doors instead of flimsy curtains, the staff is reportedly excellent and very helpful. It is worth noting that the town can be quite noisy in the early morning hours, so guests may want to take advantage of the provided earplugs.
