We stayed in a cottage at this historic hotel and were pretty disappointed. The space was nice but the cottage was pretty dirty and it you have an old property cleaning carefully is really important. Bathroom needs a facelift. The cottages are located behind a gas station which is very loud all night. The ceiling fan and AC stopped working suddenly around 8 pm. The nice young lady at the front desk tried to help and finally just brought us a fan. Breakfast was dismal and staff...
upon entering this establishment late in the evening, I was greeted with a nice smile from a girl named Melissa that worked the front desk. she informed me that the hotel was booked, just like everybody else in the area. I explained my situation to her and ask her if she could give me any advice and she went way over and above the call of duty to actually call a couple of guests that had not checked in yet to see if they were still coming. She even allowed me to charge my phone...
