this place is super cozy, cheap drinks, nice pool tables, brand new keno machines, and jukebox. Corrina is the best. this place is definitely a must-stop cozy bar if you’re near threeforks.

We were here for only one night. The rating would have been 2 or 3, but the historic aura of this hotel makes it worth a stay. We enjoy staying in historic properties, and know that you often have to sacrifice comfort/convenience in many of these. However, the Sacajawea falls short in several areas. Three Forks is a tiny town, and this hotel is about the only decent choice. It's right on Main Street, with parking right at the hotel. the 2-story hotel building (no elevator) was built in 1911, and the lobby, front porch, etc. still exude the historical significance of this place. Sitting out on the front verandah is relaxing. But there are issues, some of which could be fixed without too much effort or cost. Our first floor queen suite (free upgrade) showed its age. It was a large room with a large bathroom (walk-in shower). It had a very high ceiling. But the furnishings needed updating, and the a/c was loud. It faced Main Street, so the road noise was significant at times. Notwithstanding, the room was OK for us given the history. But other issues outweighed the history feel. When we checked in, no one was at the front desk for a full 10 minutes---bad start. There used to be a fine dining restaurant adjacent to the lobby, but it's apparently closed now. So now the restaurant is downstairs in the bar, a popular place for locals. The food, etc. is good here, but it was very crowded, and we ended up having dinner sitting at the bar. Perhaps they should reserve some tables for guests of the hotel. The final issue was unforgiveable. As noted by other reviewers, breakfast is a fiasco. It's just a limited continental breakfast set up on the 2nd floor. You have to carry it back down to the 1st floor if your room is on that floor. There are no indoor tables to sit at----you eat in your room. We actually ate at an outside table on a patio behind the hotel. But this is, of course, weather permitting. The former restaurant on the 1st floor is dark. But it still has booths and some tables. So why not at least set up the mediocre continental breakfast there, so guests can eat breakfast there (and buss their own tables). I understand that, like a lot of places today, the hotel might be short-staffed. But these issues may indicate "terminal signs"---potential closure. That would be sad, as it is a lovely building with much history.

Cool vibes, clean place, tasty food and live music. Such a neat hotel in a small town you'd never think existed. We were pleasantly surprised and plan on staying again for our daughter's birthday in September.

Overrated Poor to non-existential internet Old “historic” rooms desperately in need of updating (mildew smell, virtually unventilated, one unused electrical outlet, tv with only 9 channels) Management had to transfer a decent armchair into our room (but nice enough to work it out, along with an extension cord to charge our laptop) Portico was very comfortable, but the heavy street noise (Main Street) made it a problem Best restaurant in town

Charming and quaint. Very comfortable. Well appointed rooms and simply beautiful. The charm is conveyed thru the entire hotel. Friendly staff and very clean. The bar is a great place to relax and chat as are the other public areas of the hotel. This is a must stay!

This hotel is one of the finest around. Who would imagine a hotel of this caliber would exist in a little town outside of Bozeman called Three Forks? We enjoyed the front porch, live music, and good pub food. The rooms were very clean and the toiletries and small touches they added really made a difference for our stay. Customer service was top notch. Be sure to stay here and nowhere else because you will truly not regret it.

Upon arrival a nice cold towel and sparkling wine drink which was very welcome, the room was prepared well with the (noisy)air con on as it was a hot day. However from here on it went rapidly down hill! The on-site restaurant was very expensive and frankly a dark looking bar really, the bar downstairs noisy and full of locals but food was ok and reasonably priced. Breakfast ( so called), is a utter sham laid out in a corridor by the vending machines and dismal, largely pre packed choice, stated as continental but frankly clearly none of the hotel management has ever had a European continental breakfast! When I enquired where do we eat it? The reception staff looked at me with surprise and stated in your room! As there is no table only a bed it was going to be a challenge! Luckily there was a reasonable cafe down the road to have a decent breakfast although it will add another $30 on your bill for two!! So to noise! As the building is so called “historic”, it has paper thin walls, creaking floors, so you can hear all rooms activity, add to this the “ Redneck, ” extremely loud pick up trucks roaring by from 5am till 11pm it’s a delight! Oh and the rattling poor air con in your window! Lastly housekeeping room service, you have to ask every day for it, odd? Then they forget, so you come back as we did, to no fresh towels or bed made, lack of deep clean detail evident as photos of lights and shower rail, show, not to mention the horrific sink plug deposits, frankly a hospitality disaster for the price! I would point out I work for a top rated world renowned hotel chain, so are qualified to comment! In short not the worst but falls a long way from value for money!

Our check-in experience was fabulous! Warm hand towels and champagne were given as we checked in. The dining room is lovely, and the food is 5 stars! Our suite was beautiful with a comfortable bed and comfy robes.

We had a lovely time at the Sacajawea Inn. We were greeting by friendly staff with hot scented towels to clean up with, and a glass of champagne. The building has been carefully restored and has nice beds, linens, hot showers and modern bathrooms while still feeling historically true. We had a very tasty meal at the Sac Bar which was as good or better than what you can find in Bozeman. Would definitely do this trip again and recommend to friends.

The building had been beautifully restored and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Alex at the front desk was especially wonderful. You can walk to a couple of little cafes about a block away and a free local history museum (fascinating)!

Happy to see me but no one there, no wifi (important to have in a bar) and when I asked for a sugar free shot bar tender started arguing with me about what dose and dose not have sugar, super unprofessional and made me want to leave, I won't be back.

It's the local bar.
