Had the R lager Amazing!! The fried amber beer fish n tots were 10/10 amazing with the home made tartar sauce! The bartender was awesome and let us buy snacks from the mercantile. Also there have been a lot of bigfoot sightings here! Very cool definitely the place to stop when in “the yaak”
Horrible service at the tavern. Last winter we went for lunch and waited two hours for our meals. Recently they wouldn’t allow us in with a registered service dog even with proper documentation. One girl was completely rude about it and told us to leave, wouldn’t even let us on the patio.
After a hike to the falls, stop in for a relaxing meal…. The home made chili was delicious, and the chicken sandwich was juicy!
Clean and renovated facility with great staff. The hamburger was amazingly…. One of the best I have had in a very long time. Will be back soon!
We highly recommend the tavern for food and drink! Stopped in for lunch and had awesome service. The French dip and the Philly cheesesteak was so good! The tavern has a great atmosphere and the mercantile next door has some really cool merchandise.
Don’t be fooled by the appearance of the outside of this off-the-beaten path bar and cafe. The inside is a pleasant and lively place, with great hamburgers and piping hot French fries. There’s the usual bar/tv football games and a wide selection of beers and other libations. And clean tables and restrooms.
Very nice cabins for $50 a night. They have a good beer selection and the food was okay!
What an unexpected find! Great food, and outstanding atmosphere. Will be one of our go-to's after all our adventures in the Yaak.
Great place! A friend and I stopped for a cold beer. We had already eaten otherwise we would have ate here. The food looked great that people around us were eating.
Beautiful little store and tavern - burgers were awesome - we had the ice melted and mushroom burger. The view off the back deck while enjoying our food and drinks was fantastic.

Great food, Rainbow is a fantastic waitress. She helped find a solution for our car problem. Stayed in the cabins for a night, clean and warm, rustic. Great peaceful place friendly staff.
Always enjoy my time here! Great sandwich tonight!
