Go their quite often. I am an area local. This meal was spot on. I had Finger Steaks and fries. My son had Hamburger Steak with grilled mushrooms and onions. Baked potato and brown gravy on the side. We both had salad Bar as our starter. All fresh and nice assortment of items. You can't go wrong eating at the Anchor.

We gave our drink order to 4 separate staff members and finally after about 20 minutes we got our drinks and then server walked off not bothering to take our order. She then claims there were others ahead of which they were not we watched them walk in. Poor poor service, I even had to locate my own straw for my drink.

Tried to pull 50 cents out as fast as possible to pay for water after my drink at the bar, never was told it’d be 50 cents once ordered so the lady behind the bar was rude and walked away when I didn’t pull it out fast enough berating me and treating me differently from other patrons around me once she brought it out. If you can’t act like a patient adult, get out of customer service.
