I don't generally leave reviews, but this was BAD. Went there for the first time on our anniversary. We had high expectations, as it is rated one of the finest steak houses in Montana. What a joke! The waitstaff is dressed in whatever they had on when their shift started. The dining room is worse then a Golden Corral. We ordered a bottle of Cabernet. I realize it was a twist cap, but still, you do not set the bottle down with two glasses and walk away...am I being too picky here(?) Anyway, We both ordered Prime rib medium rare. We both sent them back to be cooked longer. This is saying a lot as we both like "red" in our steaks. They were RAW. I don't mean rare...I mean RAW. These steaks were not cooked by a "chef", I'm pretty sure the dish washer could have done a better job! This was by far, the worst steak dinner experience we have ever had. If you are in search of an upscale dining experience, look elsewhere.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while. I always heard great things. The personnel were great. The food was so so. My rice was barley warm. The bill when we received it was double what it should be. An "error" of course. I was very disappointed. We won't be back.

The cook was excellent and was very sociable with children and the bus girl was completely wonderful going above and beyond.Justice was our waitress however and that is where the lower rating comes in. Although she was all smiles, she was clearly either under trained or simply had no work ethic. She seemed to have forgotten that we were her table multiple times and aside from taking our order was a no show for every other part of her job.

Disappointed! Service was fine but the food was mediocre. 2 in our group of 4 got the baby back ribs which were tough. Couldn't cut ribs with the provided knives so guys had to use their pocket knives! Prime rib was hard to cut as well. I don't mind spending $150 for dinner out once in a while but the food should be fantastic. Victor Steak House needs to step up quality to match their prices and for the love of God, replace your steak knives!!

Valentines day! Smothered my little steak in brown gray. Did not taste grilled. Very weird! Not good! My husband enjoyed the T-bone.

This is the best steak I've ever eaten, I have been all over the world and wish I could fly out and eat here at least once a year! Make the effort to try this place people!!

Quality of service has dropped substantially over the past year or so.Arrived early with a reservation and was seated around 5:15 with the restaurant being almost *completely empty,* then proceeded to wait around 20 minutes to even see a server and have an order taken. Received some bread and some salads and then waited for another 45 minutes before finally approaching the counter to simply pay for what we had eaten and leave. We informed the (alleged) manager/owner that we had been there for over an hour, at which point she felt the need to argue that "the order was punched in only 40 minutes ago." We reiterated that it took over 20 minutes for someone to take the order, at which point she responded "Come on, it hasn't even been an hour since your reservation -- It's only 6:28."Rather than pushing this point any further, we once again simply insisted on paying. She at first complained that they didn't know how to price the side items separately but later claimed "The food is *literally* up there dying in the window" before we once again refused and insisted on just paying for our drinks and salads (because as much as I hate the idea of wasting food, I was going to have a conference in about 20 minutes, and we didn't feel like paying upwards of $40 apiece to be rushed through a meal). She finally just responded "I'll take care of it" before waving us out. Tried our hardest to be respectful and agreeable, but the fact that people sometimes just have other places to be seemed like a foreign/offensive concept to this individual.Summary: Used to be a perfectly good establishment, but the service has taken a huge dive over the past year. Waited absurdly long for our food before finally deciding to leave and offering to pay for our sides but received a bunch of needless protest from their management (who apparently saw no issue with making the customer wait upwards of an hour) in something that really felt like persuading a 12-year-old to clean their own room before going out. Might explain why their floor was practically empty on Thanksgiving weekend.
