I’m not one to post negative reviews but I was pretty upset when I walked out of this restaurant on Wednesday evening. We had been up town for dinner and read reviews about the Huckleberry Pie served here. We quickly left to purchase a piece and sit by the lake to watch the sunset. Immediately when we walked in, the workers all looked at us and then each other like we should not be there. Yes, it was 8:45 and they close at 9 but we only wanted a piece of pie and would have not walked in that late expecting a full meal to be served. When I told them I just wanted pie and ice cream, they were like oh, good. Then the guy asked someone else to help us. He was rushed and we then told me the business next door sold ice cream and was open until 10pm. We overheard him ask the next couple that walked in behind us if they were ordering to-go. I paid ($12 for the pie) and went next door to The Cedar Tree and the girl there was SO helpful. She not only served me a cup of ice cream, she also heated the pie up for me. I am giving two stars because the pie was very good. Other than this experience, we had a great experience while visiting Glacier NP and West Glacier.
DONT BUY THE FIREWOOD. More expensive than any other place. Spent an hour trying to get this fire going (never had issues before) almost two weeks worth of newspaper and an hour of making kindling later and all the wood is burnt but nothing would catch. Please go somewhere else! Very disappointing
First time, great experience with decent food and great service from Vervara.
Second time, good food and medium service.
Third time, we were told food has a 45 min wait. We decided to wait. The steward didn’t look too pleased with our decision and the server seated us and never came back. All we needed were waters to start our wait but after a full 12 mins, we walked out.
Another server saw us leave and made zero effort to stop us. Not her table, not her problem.
Awesome shop for literally any need. Has name brand and durable clothing for the changes in weather for the park, knick knacks, drinks, camping food, and a knowledgeable staff that can give you park updates which was really nice. Shannon was great and very informative. Next door is their cafe which has american diner foods, big servings, and an awesome hot chocolate. Great for lunch or dinner!
Surprisingly good food for a place that caters to tourists who will never be returning anyway.
5/25: decent place fair prices
This is a souvenir/ coffee shop inside Glacier National Park.
It has a number of trinkets and a number of things that came in handy when hiking or camping.
I bought a fridge magnet as a souvenir and coffee cause I was very cold
Really neat setting and great service. Friendly staff.
This was an awesome spot! Great food and drinks! Jorge (?sp) was an awesome waiter!
End of the season, I bet this place is fun in the summer. All kinds of stuff offered but the looks of it.

Great food option in the park. Vegetarian options, highly recommend the tofu spinach wrap. Everything we ordered was great and waiter was nice.

The area is small and there are not a lot of options if you are starving from hiking/driving! Food was good and the drinks pricey but not over the top compared to the other options in the area.

Very disappointed. Worker saw I did not leave a tip, shorted one ice cream about half compared to the other two ice creams filled up. Did not want to redo order and make them equal in size. The worker said “You can do what you would like” and turned us away. I would not recommend coming here. You will not be satisfied with the service you receive from the workers as well as the money you spend and what you receive in return.

I ordered fish and chip which cost me $19 plus tax in Montana. The french fries are not edible. Extremely dry and taste like powders. The fish wrapped is heavily breaded, you are eating a bunch of grease, very little fish
The atmosphere is bad because there is no AC, very hot in the summer, with lots of bugs flying around your head.
My wife ordered hamburger and it was also not good.
The waitress didn’t attend to me until you signed the check.
I can’t remember if I have dined in any place like this in 10 years leaving me bad taste

Wanted to get a quick lunch, but had our leashed dog with us. I popped in and asked the hostess if we could place an order and eat outside on their (completely empty) deck, because we had our dog. Hostess was leaning on the stand with her head on her hand. Didn’t bother to lift her head to talk to me, just used her other hand to gesture outside. ‘You have to place an order to go and eat at the picnic tables!’ Ok..no problem..where do I get a menu or place an order? ‘ you go outside! ( with a shooing motion with her other hand)’ ok, where do I place an order? ‘OUTSIDE OUTSIDE!’ Still didn’t bother lifting her head. Thinking there was an outside order window, out I went..husband and I looked around..can’t find anything. He went in to ask again. She told him to order at the bar (to go), why she didn’t tell me? Who knows. So he got a menu and brought it out, we decided on what to order, but thought a beer would be nice. In he went to place our order and ask about beer. This caused some confusion and needed multiple people to get involved. Finally he was told no beer on to-go orders, even if we were eating at one of their picnic tables, which were off to the side in a fairly yucky area. Ok..sodas it is then. Food was picked up..my sandwich was dry and tasteless, definitely not worth the nearly $20 price. Cokes were so flat we couldn’t drink them. Husbands sandwich was so-so. Apparently we were the first people ever there who wanted to know about grabbing a bite with a dog..🙄🙄🙄. Not great food, horrible customer service and attitude. Go to West Glacier Village. Friendly people, more options, and you can have a beer outside with your dog.
