We look forward to eating here each October while visiting Glacier. I've never had a bad meal from Glacier Highland. The burgers are amazing! Staff is always friendly and happy to provide local information. See you in the fall ?

Really good food. Fries are homemade and awesome. French dip was first class. Unfortunately, closer until spring. I'll be there next year.

Nice rustic restaurant. The food was good and the service was great. We were there late in the season, so there were few options for breakfast. The coffee was trying to be good but not really into it. The Huckleberry pancake was totally worth it.

Looking for restaurant that was open late. Stopped in at Glacier Highland and was very impressed. I had the meatballs and i am still craving more now that I'm home. All the sides were really good. My husband had a burger and loved it. Food served quick and friendly service. Of course we had some pie to go. Yum!

Stopped here for breakfast before a long day of driving. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and clean. My husband ordered 3 pancakes. He could only eat 2 of the pancakes. The food was very good. The two waitresses were very busy with the breakfast crowd but you wouldn't know it based on the excellent service.

Stopped here last night out of desperation since everything else was closed, as a party of 4. The host was very polite, though somehow despite being the 2nd party in line and being told a 10 minute wait, it took nearly an hour to be seated and 3 other parties skipped ahead of us while there was a table open the entire time in the back corner, which we were eventually seated at. The host brought us water and menus, then nobody came back for 15 minutes. The server, Josh, asked if we wanted drinks which we all said we're good with water, and then he left again for another 15 minutes- never asked if we were ready to order and never even offered to refill our 4oz water glasses. Finally came time to order and I can not have any sugars, fiber, or bread due to a health condition so I asked for 2 bison patties and 2 pieces of cheese, nothing else. I was told that I'd have to purchase 2 entire meals for $39. After some haggling, we were able to double the burger and add bacon for a total of $31 and I'd give my soup to another member of the party. Welp, I still got buns, tomato, mayo, lettuce and onions which I specifically requested not be on the plate AND there was no bacon. At this point I'm fed up and starving so I just scraped everything off and ate the bison so I could leave and never see this place again. Then it came time to pay and I was denied an itemized receipt by Josh, but the host got me one and I was charged for bacon I never got and the soup was charged twice as well. And the card was already charged, so I couldn't get the money back either. I spent half the night in the bathroom from this disaster, so yes I am bitter right now, but this place needs to get its act together. One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had.Dietary restrictions: No accommodations whatsoever for my dietary restriction. "Either buy 2 full meals and throw away 95% of them, or get nothing".

Wonderful family owned restaurant with a alpine feel. Beautiful wooden floors and furniture provide a warm ambiance. We were taken care of by the owners son who provided wonderful service and spoke highly of his mother's cooking. We started out with the spider tots and camping logs which were delicious. The tots were crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy potato on the inside with a nice doing sauce. The logs were creamy cheese and crab filled with a sweet and sour sauce. For our entrees we had the Rib eye steak which was tender and topped with a green peppercorn sauce, chicken saltimbocca was moist and crusted with prosciutto in a light sauce, the chicken pot pie was a modern version with large chunks of chicken in a creamy gravy with puffed pastry and the bowman salad with spinach and grilled vegetables. All of the dishes were good scratch cooking and the beers were cold and refreshing. We had the honey ale and the brown. You need to save room for the homemade pies...Huckleberry lemon....delicious. best food in the area.

Food was just OK for the price. It’s pretty expensive but then again it’s West Glacier. The fries were burned with the bison burger. I didn’t feel the bison meatloaf was worth $27 when I have had better for less at other restaurants in Montana. The pie was good!We waited about 10 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. It was cold inside the restaurant. Bathrooms were trashed. Might be understaffed though because we went at the end of season. I still believe everyone should have the same service no matter though, especially since the price is the same all season long.Parking: On site parking

Glacier Highland Cafe is located on the main highway just outside the park, next to the Belton Inn. It offers very tasty breakfast fare, with a Montana twist - huckleberry-flavored items, bison, elk sausage. Reasonably priced for the area, and large enough portions for a hearty brunch.

The location is great, and so is the food! We had lunch here twice, and breakfast once, including some pie for the second lunch stop. All of it was great! The gift shop also has lots of huckleberry goods, and fun souvenir and camping items.

We were staying at Paddle Ridge in West Glacier and after a great day in the park saw this restaurant right down the street from our hotel and decided to give it a try. We knew it was a good decision when we walked in on a September Monday night and there was a huge crowd. We had to wait a while for a table but it was well worth it. I had the Buffalo Meatloaf and my wife had the Chicken Pot Pie. Both were very good and you have to try the Huckleberry Pie for dessert. Great food at a great price --- as good a value as in the area.
