Stopped in for a bite after exploring GNP. Had the veggie grinder and Italian sub, both delicious! Prices were a bit high, but that’s to be expected given its location. I don’t mind paying for convenience if the food is good.

Well, as many of you know getting around in Glacier NP has become cumbersome. Freda’s is very over priced for food items. We ate at Many Glacier hotel, full meal, and it was cheaper then 2 people at Freda’s. But Freda’s can charge that if you have to eat. We stayed outside the park and wanted to eat before our travels. my advice is to pack more food then you think is necessary. But if you have to eat there, bring the money. Food itself was average fast food.

Stopped to get a sandwich before leaving the park. It was about 20 minutes before they closed. Cashier was friendly and took my order quickly. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fixings along with a huckleberry shake. When I unwrapped the sandwich, it looked like a bear had mauled it before it was wrapped. Fixing were smeared inside of wrapper and the bun was very soggy. However, once I got it roughly reassembled, it tasted good. The shake tasted good but was pretty lumpy....read full review
