My absolute favorite dish here is the pulled pork nachos hands down. I've also had burgers and steaks here in the past both were well cooked and good. I like how the burgers are cooked to order and they nail it.
The steak Mac and cheese was decent.
I also like how they serve 2 basset beer in tap. It is awesome how bar 47 (and other places) support their local brewery.
The staff was friendly and attentive.
The adult milkshakes are quite tasty.
Dietary restrictions: They are quite helpful with gluten free options. I appreciated it

I guess old people don't go out to eat anymore. How could they with the lights dimmed this low and the music this loud. Could y'all find a happy medium perhaps? The food is way overpriced, but it did go down nicely. Very good dinner. The staff was beyond belief. All of them were appropriately attentive and Tara definitely sets the standard for what makes it nice to go out and have a nice dinner. She was on the spot and so polite. Worth a visit.

W waited for over an hour for our food and it wasn't crowded. In fact it was rather slow as far as customers went. When they did finally bring our food out they brought 3 out of 4 meals we ordered. Said they just had to run back and grab the nachos one of our party had ordered. Three of us were over halfway done with our meal and the 4th still didn't have theirs. Nachos are the easiest thing on the menu to make. Very disappointed in the customer service.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in this part of the state but things have changed. Portion sizes have shrunk to the point of absurd. The macaroni & cheese with pulled pork & bbq sauce is still tasty but is now served in a very small bowl reminiscent of a soup cup. It used to be served in a nice size bowl & was very filling. Not anymore. I understand prices have gone up but it’s still just macaroni & cheese for the most part. The portion size for this dinner entree is ridiculous. If you need to, raise the price again & provide appropriate sized portions again.

We came to White Sulphur Springs to go to the Hot Springs and also hunt for a long weekend. We stopped in to bar 47 for drinks and dinner. The staff was super attentive and made sure our drinks were refilled. I had the prime rib, which was amazing :-) it was a snowy night and they had there would still going, which was super cozy.
If anyone is looking for a great steak Bar 47 is the place to go!

While it was obviously very busy this weekend I still received great service. There were very many large groups of people, so food took a little longer than usual. Even with this wait the food was still great! If you have a problem waiting for WHOLE food then go to McDonald’s or the town pump down the road.

This was a very disappointing place to Eat!! We were told when we arrived that they had a large group so it would take a little longer which we were fine with, we don’t mind having an extra drink. But they ended up not having any Rum. How does a bar run out of Rum. Finally after we got a drink we ordered and got an appetizer being they said it would take a while. After an hour we finally were able to get another drink and reminded them we had ordered an appetizer if we could get that. After another hour we received our food. In that time other tables had gotten their food that arrived after us. The food was very disappointing cold and dried out. One had ordered the Mac and cheese with steak and it was so cold it was one piece. And one person in our group never received their meal. But the waitress was never to be found again. After being there 2 1/2 hours I had to find a server to get our check and told her I wanted to talk to someone. The bar tender came over and told us she works 60 hours a week and this is how it is. Then a lady from the kitchen came out did not say anything but I will take 15% off your bill that’s it and left. Very rude and unprofessional. At that point we paid and left. I would not recommend this place to anyone food was not good and service horrible. The owner and manager should be embarrassed by how this place is ran. Eat anywhere else in White Sulfur Springs.

Mind bogglingly bad service tonight. The worst we've ever received anywhere in the state. Felt like we were in the twilight zone or something. The food was good though. Fish tacos wer pretty good, BLT was bomb, green bean fries? Get them if you go. Think you need different servers though. We had to track a gal down in the back bar area because our server ignored us for over an hour after we asked for refills. Hopefully she was just having an off day or something but man it felt like she hated us from the get go. Just gave off bad vibes overall. The girl in the back was very kind and helpful so please know we appreciated you helping us get our bill and to go boxes. The green bean fries are fire so that was one good thing. Pretty sad that our birthday girl picked this spot special because she had such good experiences before and was all let down, she kept having to reassure us that it wasn't usually like this.
