I remember this place from the 80's when I used to visit Ed LaVigne, and the Dorvals, a friend who nicname was Screamer and Stanley and Rodney who if I remember right were loggers, and lived right outside of Whitehall. Cannot believe it is still open.
I've always loved the Mint Bar. Each time I visit my Mom and sister in Whitehall, I go to Tona's place. I was in Whitehall in July 2014, because my Mom is elderly and was not doing well. I got her to go to Tona's, and the social life and all the greetings from people Mom has known over the years in town brought her back to life.
