This place has consistently been great for 20 years. Cute hole in the wall (literally), friendly staff, great prices, large portions, and some of the best mole chicken enchiladas ever. Plus their pico has habanero without being overly-spicy...yum. Perfect place to just chill out and eat a quick lunch with zero hassle.
A small, very good restaurant at a fair price.
Even if it doesn't look so "classy" next to the overpriced hotels, you can get very good food here. There were also nachos with the country's typical tomato, onion and jalapeno mix as a starter.

We ate well, simple but good meal, the restaurant offers quite a few choices, the service is fast and the waitress is very charming, you can ask for access to the (private?) beach of Akumal just last, parking in front of the restaurant , I recommend !
