Came here after meeting one of their turtle volunteers when we were turtle spotting last night - great organisation and great bar too! I had a Captain Crunch sandwich for lunch with plantain, raisin, agave and peanut butter. Food was fine, nice to see a separate vegan menu (unusual for the area!) but the location and staff really make the place stand out.

Perfect little Beach dive. Food is decent and food service is on "Beach Time" . Bartenders Charlie and Rebecca are amazing and super friendly but staff is a rotation of folks who come and go based on the Turtle season and high season. The beach in front of BB is nice and sandy compared to some areas.
We went at the end of May. The shrimp quesadillas are very delicious, the ceviche is a good portion, the pepperoni pizza prepared to order for the children is excellent. The barista who served us was very friendly and helpful. Good place to eat if you are staying in that area of Akumal.
Kid-friendliness: Children can play in the sand while the food arrives.

I really liked being able to have a quiet drink in front of the sea enjoying nature and without mosquitoes or ants ?. I don't give it more stars because there is nowhere to sit on the beach. The neighboring places have sun loungers on the beach to sunbathe but here they only have plastic chairs and tables inside. Otherwise pleasant.

This place has a great vibe, the beach is gorgeous and the service was excellent. The food was great for my 13 and 11yo American picky eaters, and also for vegans (they have an entire page of the menu devoted to vegan food). I wanted to include a photo of the entrance on the inland side, because we were confused when we drove in. This is the path into the restaurant.

Bartenter Marco ,never smile, leave thé tables dirty, stay behind thé bar , we had to go get our own drink. No service from him .Seem like he does’nt like the people., and work there .Not social at all .
