Cozy little shop with delicious empanadas for only 25 pesos (1.40)We had the potato & meat and the choriqueso.Both highly recommended, but my favorite was the potato and meat.We also had an iced coffee (note: pure coffee with ice) and a cappuccino. Both very tasty and less sweet than in most Mexican places.Maybe we'll go again tomorrow morning
Four thumbs up. Pastries were yum and good value at $25 pesos each. Coffee was a bit expensive for us (50-70 pesos) but excellently prepared. The latte was a bit sweet for us, I really enjoyed the americano. The mocha tasted like Mexican hot chocolate, which we enjoyed.
Doña María was excelente. The place was clean and she was lovely. The best iced coffee by far in Bacalar and her empanadas were delicious. The kids had frozen shakes and were very happy. The place is beautiful and the attention was exceptional. Her attention to detail and friendly service made us want to return on our next visit. Would definitely recommend stopping by.
