If you want to eat excellent tacos prepared right in front of you, it's here!! Quiet family taqueria, not far from the main square of Bacalar with all the noisy and touristy restaurants. We ate there 3 evenings and enjoyed ourselves each time. They offer corn tacos but also flour tacos and other traditional Mexican dishes. The map is short. No beer but it is possible to buy it next door to drink it at the table.
Lovely little place to eat, mostly populated by locals eating kerbside. Traditional Mexican food - Aztec soup, stuffed potatoes and all the usual fare - tortillas, tacos, etc. Just a sweet and cheap place to eat, really.Ate in one night then ordered the potatoes to take away on another night and ate at home as part of a larger meal.No beer sold, fyi.
I'm from Puebla and if you want something to fill you up here, try the al pastor or chicken sopes and also the huaraches, recommended affordable prices, very good habanero sauce
