Rejected the food. Fish not fresh. Mosquitoes everywhere. Nightmare evening. I wouldn't go back for anything in the world.

We have eaten a traditional muffin and a fried egg toast here and it has been spectacular. The eggs were brutal! And the muffin is great. Furthermore, the waiter was very friendly and told us a lot of things about Bacalar. I highly recommend it. Plus it's right in the center!

We sat on the porch for dinner and it was delightful! Watching the locals go about their routines, eating tacos (pastor!!!) and eating chips a guac. Can't miss! Great location!

We only had drinks here, but I would not recommend this place. I confirmed with the waiter that it was 2 for 1 margaritas before ordering and then when getting the bill they tried to charge us for both because "it was 2 for 1 margaritas per person". There are so many other restaurants/bars in Bacalar that have normal 2 for 1 deals, just save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere

Food was horrible. Arachera was cold. Salad tasted like it came from a bag. Tortillas were dry and not even fully cooked. Quesadillas in salsa verde was horible idea because once the food comes out they are dripping soggy. Wasnt asked if i wanted a refill on my drink. Service was slow and we were the only table.

Restaurantji Recommends
The food is very expensive!!! 1200 for some enchiladas and 2 enmoladas, the chicken frozen and without seasoning, the portions are small and they also "suggest" a 15% tip and when you don't give it they get upset. I definitely do not recommend it nor would I return

The waitress is very bad! I don't even answer the good night out of politeness, ? 1 hour to bring a shepherd's wire, when it was time to pay they brought me a bill that wasn't mine, so they had already added the 15% tip! The place is nice but the service is terrible ?

We asked for gringa al pastor, they gave us tacos, never brought what we asked for, they charged us more money and the tip of 15% already in our billed taken from our credit card without permission BE AWARE! Food taste like nothing, no flavor at all

Unfortunately we had to go here for breakfast because it is tied to our hotel. The coffee they serve is only with suggar. If we want normal coffee without suggar we have to pay extra which is ridiculous. The food is also below mediocre. Would not advise to go!

The Aztec soup is delicious, the natural water too, just that the chicken in my enmoladas was already very hard and dry, and the prices are high, $550 for the two dishes and two natural flavored waters
