We stopped off here for a pizza and a quick drink. The pizza was excellent, and far better than previous pizza’s we’ve had in Mexico - this was almost as good as Italy. The price is reasonable, and the service is good.

Very bad service, the waiters rush and tell you before ordering that you only have a certain time to eat because they are closing by a certain time. They forgot to bring us bread and it was cold. The pasta was flavorless and plastic like. Don’t waste your time and money here.

stumbled upon this restaurant and didn’t disappoints! We both had pizzas and they were sooo good and the base was super thin. We also enjoyed the Caribbean jungle rain water! Great service and fair prices would defo recommend!

We spend 3 days in Bacalar and where really longing some Italiaan food. This place surprised us the food and service was excellent! The owner recommended us tiramisu as a desert, that was a real good recommendation absolutely delicious ?

Really nice and true Italian place. The staff is very nice and the gnocchi with salmon was the best gnocchi we ever had. By the way the tiramisu is also great! Prices are between 150 and 300 Mexican pesos for pizza’s and pasta’s.

Delicious pastas with fresh ingredients. Both me and my girlfriend loved it. The owner is very kind and speaks English very well. The tiramisu is the best way to finish your dinner here (but the portion is large; we were glad we shared one)

Best Italian food ever from outside Italy. The pizza was a 10/10 and the posta was homemade and delicious. The owner was a Italian guy, a very nice guy. Go there!!!!

We were 2 couples traveling together. One of the main reasons we travel to remote areas in Mexico is to enjoy the delicious local Mexican food. But we had heard how delicious this Italian restaurant is, so we decided to try it while in Bacalar. We each had a different type of pizza. Delicious! So we decided to return 2 nights later and we each had different types of pasta. Absolutely the best pasta dishes we have ever had, and I can tell you that I LOVE Italian food. This is the best. The owner was extremely helpful, friendly (despite the restaurant being full each time) And the tiramisu was by far the best ever. I am a big guy that can eat a large meal and this dinner filled me up. Best dinner we had in Bacalar. Thanks Bertilla & Luciano!

What a great Place. The venue looks simple but the food is great. Fresh Pasta and amazing Pizza - not even talking about the dessert- perfect! Sincerely we have tried several places in Bacalar and Bertilla never disappointed! In summary : cool place, great Food, good service , recipe of fantastic evening. thank you, sincerely.

It was really really good !!!!! If you feel like having some fresh and true Italian pasta, this place is for real a good choice!! I went for fettuccine gamberie e scamorza and it was just increíble! The prawns were so fresh and the pasta so tasty!!! Loved it !!
