One of the best tortas I’ve had in Mexico, particularly the lechon! The pork had a wonderful smokey aroma, and was finely chopped but still extremely moist. The owner said that he smokes the pork for 10 hours, and it held up to some of the best North Carolina whole hog barbecue that I’ve had in the states.Absolutely worth swinging by on a weekend, and the prices are more than reasonable. I hope they’re able to expand and grow the business full time as more tourists visit!

Excellent place to buy breakfast on the weekend in my beloved Bacalar. My favorite is the baked suckling pig, but they also sell rich pork and black stuffing. All accompanied by their sauces. Additionally you can also buy tortillas.The attention of its owner is excellent, they take care of hygiene and give a good service.The costs are very accessible and well served.

Parking: It is a big street, there is enough space to park.

Amazing whole hog. Cooked with love, front yard style. The torta was extraordinary and so affordable! Great vibes. Have travelled a lot of Mexico eating a lot of the best street food around. This place is in the top 3.
