We stayed at MBH - this restaurant was so good we didn’t even have to go out seeking for food. Appetizers were great, main courses were great, desert was great, service- AMAZING! Very helpful our entire stay, restaurant staff was super kind and always willing to serve with great attitude, always putting stuff out for mosquitos (super needed in. The middle of the jungle lol) you have to try even if not staying here, prices were decent as well

Such an amazing place to relax and eat delicious!!! This is different, We have had a great experience (more than other food places or restaurants in downtown) this is just another experience in Bacalar.

Cute hotel restaurant. Great smoothies. Nice food. Lovely property. They welcomed us for meals as our Airbnb was next door. Thanks so much for the welcome! Photos are from by the dock (not at the restaurant) which is outdoors, spotless and pleasant.

Het zit erg verstopt maar is zeker een aanrader. Je zit midden in de jungle en de setting is erg romantisch. Personeel is vriendelijk en het eten was echt heerlijk!

It’s in the MBH hotel site. It’s very goodAnd fresh. The atmosphere really sold me - secluded and they only play 80’s music. My stay there was great.

Thoroughly recommend eating here if you’re looking for a more elevated experience. Certainly not your typical Mexican cuisine. Everything was very beautifully presented & tasted excellent. Some very creative cooking going on here. We had a tamale to start, a lamb chop dish & an octopus dish for main & lemon tart for dessert. Everything was great. Only minor criticism was there didn’t seem to be a wine list, or at least when my wife asked for a glass of white, they just brought one out and didn’t offer any choice. But that’s on us as much as the server I guess.

We stayed at MBH hotel for 3 nights. We highly recommend having breakfast there, it’s really good. We had benedictines and a must: the omelet with spinach (chaya) and omelet with chorizo. Also had dinner one night and recommend Short Rib and Chamorro Al pibil. Both really good with a tasty and freshly made mash potatoes. Loved it and all the staff attending us was extremely nice!

Good attention, the catch of the day was sea bass, well presented and delicious. Oscar was very kind and attentive.
