Classic Mexican dishes prepared alternatively and incredibly deliciously! Plus good but cheap drinks! Bacalar is refreshing after previously touring Cancun and Tulum!

If you are looking for a place where they can serve you alcohol until late this is the place, unfortunately they want to charge you an extra 5% for card payment when it is illegal in Mexico. Shame on them :(

Looks inviting, food was tasty but not wow. Music was a bit too loud to entertain. The bill included a drink at 130 pesos instead of 95 pesos. We asked about that and they corrected it (possibly picked a more expensive alcohol without asking?). So far so good. We deviated a little from the usual 10% service. We were informed that in Mexico it is customary to tip at least 10%. It's just outrageous to say something like that. We then put down the remaining amount, but are not coming back and are now leaving this feedback. So not beneficial.

The place is nice outdoors, the food is good (the tripa tacos)? the prices are considerable, what disappointed was the bad service, the manager or owner (Juan) serves reluctantly. ? I wouldn't recommend, it could have been better, what a shame.

Food here was some of the best we have had in Mexico. Best nachos I have ever had! Prices were not the cheapest but fair, you get what you pay for. Portions size of meals were big also. Highly recommend this place if you cant get a seat at Mr.Taco across the road. Only slightly annoying thing was that they blasted music very loud at 6.30pm but this seems like common practice in Mexico. ?♀️
