!!!Danger of FOOD POISONING!!! On August 6, my partner and I had dinner in this restaurant (chorizo and tacos with shrimp). During the night we developed the typical symptoms of food poisoning with a fever of up to 40°C, if was so bad we had to start antibiotic therapy. The following days were a nightmare, we had to give up a boat trip (already paid for) and we ruined our holiday in Holbox, not to mention the medical expenses. I tried to contact the restaurant but as you can see they didn't indicate the telephone number so there was no explanation and much less any compensation. I don't recommend it, we had a really bad time.

A festival of flavors and colors! The dishes were delicious, presented with attention and attention to detail. The avocado relleno was packed with flavor, as was their guacamole, and the presentation of the margaritas is also excellent, diverse in flavor and rich in flavor.
We also had a lobster pizza which was really delicious.

A real pleasure to go to eat at this place. Marlene's attention was very kind, cheerful and attentive. The food was a 10, we ordered some fish fingers as a starter (they were incredible and you could tell they were very fresh), as a main course a grill of only seafood, which was too rich and filling, enough for two people. To drink we ordered several drinks, first we started with a pineapple sangria, then a drink with mezcal and passion fruit and another as a drink that I don't remember the name of either of them, but they were all very tasty and you can see the dedication of the preparations and well finally finished with a classic tequilazo. 1000% recommended place. Don't forget to bring repellent, we forgot and Marlene saved us with her repellent.

Without a doubt a place that you cannot miss if you go to Holbox. It's not just because of the atmosphere, the decoration, the tranquility of being a little away from the hustle and bustle... the food is spectacular, we tried the avocado stuffed with seafood and the lobster... it was honestly spectacular. We have enjoyed the food very much. But above all this I highlight the service, the kindness of all the staff, the friendliness of the owner, attentive to everything at all times. We have really felt very good in this place.

We ordered the lobster pizza, what a horror and what a shame! For 600 pesos / 30€... It tasted like a frozen pizza to which we had added a few pieces of lobster (probably also frozen) Honestly a shame for a restaurant that claims to be special in shellfish and seafood.

Horrible !! The worst possible tourist. 3 days later I am still sick, the shrimp in my dish was not fresh, an ocean of rancid cream. At the end of the meal, we asked them to order us a taxi, after 2 reminders, still no taxi, they had other things to do and simply didn't do it! Go your way!
Excellent place to eat in Holbox, very well served, incredible flavor, adequate prices with what they serve you.. highly recommended

I have been to Holbox many times, but had never eaten at El Crustaceo. Such a mistake on my part! We were in the mood for fish, and this met every expectation and more. We had the fish filet and shrimp. There were 3 sauce options and the server offered to give us 2 of the 3 that we were debating on the side. Everything was delicious! We also had the guacamole and cocktails - also great.
Our evening was even more unique because the power went out right after we ordered. There were some small emergency lights and the staff never missed a beat. Food came out hot and timely. It actually made for a great atmosphere.
Will definitely be returning next trip. Highly recommend!
