We had a fantastic meal here tonight: every dish was superb, with the kay sikil (whole fish) & beef tenderloin particular highlights. Excellent cocktails & wine list too. Service was spot-on, and it’s a great location, right at the heart of Holbox, with a balcony view onto the street. Overall, the best meal we’ve had in Holbox.

I had a terrible experience at this seafood restaurant. First of all, I got food poisoning after eating there. It was quite expensive and definitely not worth the money. I ordered a pasta dish with shrimp and received only six shrimp and a handful of gnocchi. To make matters worse, it took 45 minutes from the time we ordered until we received our food. The total cost was 1.300 pesos for two people, which is outrageous for the quality, portion size, and the long wait we endured. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent menu recommendations from Kevin, we ordered rissoto and shrimp, just special. It shares the good taste of its neighbor Viva Zapata, for a high-class restaurant, the waiters were never pressured or heavy as they usually are, rather, on the contrary, friendly and attentive.

What a fabulous dinner! We had the crab cakes and clam chowder to start and the catch of the day and tenderloin for a main. All items were absolutely top notch! Especially, the clam chowder which is hard to believe you can get this great of chowder in Holbox.If you want a great meal outside of the tourist fair, this place is pretty darn awesome. Highly recommend!

This was the culinary highlight of our Isla de Holbox, Mexico experience. The service was certainly 5 star evidenced by the warm and hospitable treatment of all staff members. But the cuisine was incredible and tickled all the right taste buds without overindulging dishes in spices. I highly recommend the Crab Mac N Cheese, the oyster plate and the filet mignon. Also a highlight was the house lemonade which was so refreshing and perfectly sweetened. It hit the spot on the warm humid night. I can’t wait to come back and make another stop at this high end but unpretentious restaurant.
