We barely made the last ferry to Holbox due to a weather delay leaving Baltimore. It was just about 11 when we ventured out to look for something to eat. La Pinsa did not have their full menu available but kindly let us order a pizza. It was delicious- melty mozzarella and they were so friendly despite our very late arrival. Great service and exactly what we needed.

WOW! Amazing burger and Lobster Pizza. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Holbox. The meat and Pizza are better than you get in Europe. This must be one of the best restaurants on the island. Wow

A very simple restaurant meant in a good way. Neapolitan style pizzas, reasonable prices and very nice staff. Pizzas are in the top 10 around the globe in my view We visited 3 times during a 2 week stay

In our first evening on holbox we stayed at this place. I had the best Spaghetti carbonara in my life! (For the italian guys sorry i think they make it with cream) My girlfriend took a pinsa wich was also absolutely delicious. The only small negative point is that when you pay cash they take the tip at their own without asking. That’s not what we are used to.

Pizza is one of the most common foods on Holbox. La Pinsa had some of the best pizza we had. The crust was especially good I. We split a few pizzas between two families plus a salad. We walked by here nightly and just above every night the restaurant had live music of some kind. Our server was attentive and answered questions about the menu. Service is included in the bill which we noticed at some restaurants on the island. They do take credit cards.

Had a great meal here. Tasty pizzas and friendly staff. Great value so added a couple more drinks and cocktails :) they can do half and half pizzas too if you choose just one. Definitely a good option if you want something other than mexican or seafood.

I’ve traveled in Mexico for 35 years and it was common back then to see PROPINA or IVA “added” to your bill. It’s back in some restaurants in Holbox. The food at La Pinsq was absolutely unremarkable. The pasta had no flavor the shrimp were tough and way over cooked. Pizza although cooked in a stone oven was still doughy and lacked flavor. We ate 2 nights in the “main tourist” area of Holbox. We found the service in this restaurant to be unfriendly almost indifferent . So we were surprised although not shocked to see the tip added to the bill and then a statement at the bottom saying it’s suggested. If you are someone who does not read Spanish you would certainly had tipped twice. I feel this practice is deceptive. This was not the only restaurant in Holbox that did this. However, it did not happen when we ate outside the tourist zone. We plan to return to Holbox . We will most certainly pass on eating at La Pinsa .

We had a couple of lunches here because we couldn't stay away! We had the ceviche mix, which was so wonderful. The other dish was a deconstructed pizza -- fabulous bread alongside cheeses and meats. Delicious! And, they accept credit cards.

Great little pizza joint on Mexico. Shrimp pizza very impressive and so was the salami pizza. Really honestly great pizza I would have never thought you could get a great tasting pie in Mexico….especially on a tiny island with only dirt roads

Everyone says it's the best pizza in Holbox - and it is. Amazingly fluffy, yet crispy. So good that you almost put up with the always unasked-for reggae street musician. But only almost.

Delicious and authentic pizza in Holbox. We took a boat over to the island and shared it with Riccardo from Sardinia. We shortly learned that Riccardo has lived with his fam on the island for 4 years running a pizza joint so we obviously had to try it. We absolutely loved the spot - the pizza was delicious we had the lobster ?. The dough was delicious and they didn’t skim on the topics either. The service was very nice, the drinks were great but most importantly the pizza was delicious.
