Painapol (Painapol - Vegan friendly, breakfast & brunch.)

I've been vegetarian for over a decade, travel a lot for work and this is hands down one of the best places I've been. I was blown away by the amazing breakfast I had here. So much so, I took friends back and it became my go-to spot during the week-long stay in Holbox. So many veggies on one plate! I'm talking broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, beets, potato, carrot, jicama, tomato and lettuce, plus antipasto sundried tomato, artichoke, zucchini and eggplant ... and that was with my organic eggs on toast breakfast. On revisits back I had vegan dishes too (sorry forgot to take a picture) and loved the eggplant balls as well. This place is worth the visit with great staff, friendly atmosphere, location, and excellent service.

Special place, smart guys, attentive service, very fast (everything was ready in 10 minutes even though the place was full) and delicious food with many vegan and savory options. Another pro, they don't "force" you to leave a tip like they do in many places, so leaving it becomes a pleasure!

We did eat here a couple of times. liked the place a lot. Very good quality of food and staff. Good healthy meals, good portions! Would love to go back there. Defenitely worth going! Also good coffee! We did have breakfast and also had lunch over there!

Best place to have breakfast! Valerio gave us advice not only on food but also on what to do, beaches and tours!

One of the best places in Holbox for brunch or lunch. The menu is very varied, with tasty bowls. The coffee is also very good.

Painapol is the kind of restaurant where you immediately feel at home. We were welcomed by Valerio- the owner who’s always there- with a lot of enthusiasm. The menu for brunch is varied and very tasty with some Italian influence - a refreshing option for Holbox where you find more local options in terms of gastronomy. The pancakes were my personal favorite: very airy not too sweet and perfect to share. You should definitely check it out during your visit to the beautiful island. And thanks again to the Painapol team for being so great.

As Europeans, we found the bowls to be good value for money. The portion was very large, well prepared and very tasty.
We didn't like the volume (music box and mixer - they should really be placed somewhere else) and an excited waiter who tried to animate all the guests.

Best brunch in holbox... servers were amazing and this guy in the front door is magical.. he is friendly with everyone and knows everyone

He noticed my girlfriend was under the weather and offered here a "vitamin C smoothie" on The house - imagine an Italian accent

The most exceptional moment was when he dropped everything to offer 3 national guardsmen and gaurdswomen, with full gear, ice cold water on a hot day.. his situational awareness is commendable.. couldn't help but to have several.brunches there
