Have visited Holbox three times over the last 12 years and have had the pleasure of eating here multiple times. Among the best seafood I’ve had traveling the globe. If you like ceviche it is everything you dream about. So happy to find while the left the beach a few years back for a brick and mortar restaurant location a couple blocks away the food has stayed as good as ever. If you love incredible food, come visit. If you are in a hurry it’s not the place for you.

They took us fishing with Rony ? it was a great experience, very well organized, we ate ceviche in the afternoon, prepared by Captain Eve and at night a dinner, lobster very delicious, they make sure you have a great time.

We were recommended by the captain of the boat that brought us to the island... and we loved the service and the quality of the food, it was delicious and competitive prices... it is a very beachy and island place...

Our experience was very good, the food was very delicious, the service was very good. They made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The fish broth and the butter octopus are highly recommended. Even though they didn't have light nor did it seem like they had that problem.

Our first stop on the island yesterday and we are back for lunch today!!! Their foods are LOCALLY SOURCED AND SO FRESH AND AUTHENTIC!!! ?We had fish & shrimp ceviche, shrimp cocktail, and a Veracruz fish filet, and their lobster that was just caught from the ocean this morning - all were so refreshing and delicious! Not all restaurants use local products but Raices does’ The staff is also very friendly, speak both English & Spanish. Our waiter Froy was so friendly and fun, he gave us recommendations and they were all delicious! We’ll be back every day til we leave!

This is the only delicious, Mexican restaurant I. The plates are huge and are extremely affordable in the entire Island, -Raíces in Holbox's, IS THE BEST RESTAURANT for vegans, you can get grilled veggies salad and make your own Mai. Dish with various dishes. Of course since you are picky about your food you do have to pay but is worth the extra because is DELICIOUS THIS IS THE INLY PLACE that made my tummy extremely joyful.

Froy and Juriath were amazing, they took great care of us! The fresh catch of the day was cooked to perfection and the cocktails were delicious! We will 100% be back! It's a must try!!
