Place to eat right in front of the beach. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset with the children entertained in the sand. The food is bad, the fish tacos are the worst I've had these days. The place is expensive and the waiter, with a bill of 1040 pesos, decides to reject the tip of 60 pesos because he would have to pay more, I still can't explain it.

We stopped at Serenity Bewch Club by Holboxdream for a quick stop on our beach tour. Basically, after we announced that we wouldn't be staying at the hotel, we didn't feel welcome as guests. We ordered two smoothies and a brownie a little later. The brownie was very tasty, but our drinks were a bit watered down. For the prices there could have been a little more in terms of taste. HaWe had a nice day at the beach and stayed at this beach club. Food and drinks were alright, service not very fast but friendly. Beach was quite smelly but pool and sunloungers were nice. When paying the bill, unfortunately, our mood changed quickly. The cashier gave the option of giving 15,18 or 20 percent of tips. I didn't want to give as much because the service was quite slow. So I asked her to enter 10% tips, in my opinion more than necessary. She didn't let me go without giving at least 15%. I asked if the tip was optional and she said yes. Nevertheless, she insisted on 15%. I had to give in eventually but this incident gave us a very bad feeling for the entire evening. This stubborn attitude ruined our stay and we will not come back.

Unfortunately very poor conditions to spend your vacation here. We were hotel guests, spent a lot of time on the loungers and even booked tours in the hotel. Then you take a walk on the beach and the service immediately puts away the towels, leaves the valuables behind and other guests can take a seat. This is exactly how you imagine your vacation to be, and many others have also complained about it. Just because the facility is so small and narrow that there aren't even enough loungers for about a third of the guests. Very sad. This is not about the quality for the guest, but about ripping off tourists. Also outrageous prices in the beach club, we don't leave a single peso here. At breakfast, the plates and cereal bowls weren't clean, and we had to ask four times in the morning to refill food or juice. It's a shame that as a guest you have to organize breakfast yourself. The island itself is filled with dead seaweed that stinks and looks terrible on the boardwalks. Absolutely not recommended.
