It was worth the walk from the center of the beach I didn't want to stay at a place where cab drivers were dropping people off from the port and decided to walk along the beach until I found Chunky Monkey. Great thing is that they don't charge per chair (like other beach clubs), so you can order some food and/or drinks and lounge around as long as you wish (make sure to have your towel).

We rented a cart and drove straight here. Got our welcome drink right off. The are was very quiet and but to crowed. I ordered the fish tacos and my wife ordered the chicken tacos. These were by far the best fish tacos I've ever eaten. The fish were tender and had the best flavor. It's a little pricey, but for what you get it's well worth it. Don't waste your time at the Krazy Lobster. That place is not great.

Our trip to Chunky Monkey was amazing. 15 minute cab ride from port. We ordered a whole red snapper made sarandiando style with plenty of grilled onions and peppers. Julio gave us Habanero salsa to go with our meal and the heat just enhanced the fish.The location was tranquil just what my soul was seeking, not to touristy yet quiet with the break of the waves.Unfortunately being on the cruise ship required us to return way to soon.This is a location we will definitely return...
