Avoid if you can.
We rented an ATV with directions to a free beach with services. When we got close, a motorbike approached us and took us there. It's a very simple place, full of flies and full of tourists who were dragged there by the guides. It has a strip of sand with huts, plastic tables and chairs. The food is very simple, poorly prepared, bland, almost inedible, and the drinks are the same. Street vendors sell everything incessantly. The prices are absurdly high for what little they offer, ask for a fixed price or you will regret it!!! We ate a roasted fish that was pure bones, head and tail, which came served on a tray lined with aluminum foil. The fish was below average, it was almost impossible to eat. Flies immediately covered the plate. Don't expect much hygiene, as the place is open.
If you arrived here with a rented vehicle, don't let them drag you to the table, continue ahead along the road as there are more interesting options ahead.

Would love to give this place a 5 star, but the charge to use a credit card was $30 on a $139 bill. I guess the tip was included, I took it that way, so no harm done. The Pastor tacos were the best. Drinks were also great. This restaurant is connected to the golf karts that we rented at the port. They followed me here and corralled me into this place so that I wouldn’t keep going anywhere else. I fell for it, I should have kept driving around since I paid for the all day golf kart. $120.Also, I should have took the taxi cab here for $4, $8 roundtrip instead of the $120, there really isn’t anywhere to go after this place, cause everything is walking distance. The water is clean and there is no big waves, the kids love it.

Bad value for money, at the beginning with few people they pay attention to you, with more clients they begin to ignore you. Expensive for the portions and quality, I don't doubt that in high season they charge for everything, they "Forcely" include the 10% tip.

The place has a reserved section on the beach where you can eat, the dishes are vast. The aguachile is very good!If you like the shrimp cocktail with ketchup it is good, if it is not a flavor to your liking, I suggest ordering another dish.As for the prices, they are high, Mahahual is a stopping point for cruise ships and the prices are high, both in food and in services (massages, train hairstyles). The service is average, they are friendly, however they take time to serve the drinks, the dishes and even to keep the bill. They accept card payments.

Good treatment and good service, in front of a beautiful beach
A nice place to eat, delicious dishes and very friendly staff, it's worth knowing!
In the face of evil, affordable prices, good guaca
Very expensive if you want them to prepare what you catch on the tours, they are harsh with the preparation prices and moreover the attention leaves a lot to be desired. There are better restaurants very close to this location. And by the way! They get upset if you don't leave a tip.
The waiters are expensive, they take a long time to see if you need something and for the cost of what they offer, they leave a lot to be desired, there are better restaurants near this one, with better service, same price and better dishes
