Without a doubt, after driving from Tulum, the best place in Mahahual to stay, eat VERY good and delicious, and stay on the beach all day. The services and staff are very attentive and the facilities are SUPER, better than the rest, it is safe!!!

We came because of the ratings we saw here, but we got to the lounge chairs and after 20 minutes they didn't come to serve us. The attention was more on the tables with many people and foreigners. Better we went next door and they immediately attended to us. As for food and drinks, obviously nothing to say.

We spent our day in port at Malecón21. This place did not disappoint. We bought the $40 package which goes toward your food and drink costs, so by the end of the day, all we owed was the tip! The staff was amazing and friendly. The food was authentic, delicious and beautifully prepared. Angel and Fernando made us feel like we were their only guests. The entire day, these gentlemen made sure our drinks were full and our needs were met. The ladies who offer the beach massage were exceptional. Everything you could want for a day of relaxation away from the busy tourists. The facilites are updated, stylish and exceptionally clean. There are folks who walk the beach trying to sell you things, but they do not pester you at all if you say no. The beach is serene and beautiful. From the reviews, a lot of people mistake the natural reef for seaweed. There was no seaweed at all when we were there this week. From the port, just go to the yellow taxis and tell them Malecón21 and they’ll get you right there in 10 minutes. When you're ready to leave after the most relaxing day you’ll ever have, the staff will call you a taxi which was there within minutes. We’re looking into booking our next cruise and Malecón21 is already on our list for Costa Maya!

There are no waves on Mahahual beach, this happens because of the coral barrier, and the locals have placed a net along the coast which stops the sargassum, it is fantastic. Now, I highly recommend this place Malecon 21 since the food is great, they have a good mixology menu, the place is beautiful, the service is attentive and detailed (Marco served us, the young man was super nice, he has great stories like when he parachute) and you can rest here all afternoon enjoying the delights of Mahahual. You will not regret

We did the $40 per-person cruise day pass. The $40 goes toward your food and beverage tab. Well worth it for what we were looking for. Quiet spot, delicious tacos, and lots of cold drinks. We spent around 5 hours here. Plenty of time in the ocean and under the shade. Nice beach chairs. Easy access across the street to the restaurant and restrooms. Clean and safe. Not a party place on the day we visited. Definitely worth paying a little more to have the good location and quality food. We will go again when cruising here. Hardly any seaweed, they have nets in the ocean to prevent it. And clean any off the beach. We messaged them in WhatsApp and got immediate responses.

I’ve been in Mahahual for a 5 days this trip and have eaten at Malecon21 four times. Twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. The breakfast is fantastic, the coffee is to die for.
Tonight we went for dinner andI had the Picana steak, my father had the filet mignon and my mother had a Greek salad. Our food was absolutely delicious, my father said it’s the best steak he has ever had! It is amazing that such great food, service and ambiance exist in a small place like Mahahual. It was as good as anything you could find in a big city.
It’s the best restaurant in Mahahual and the is no close second in my opinion. I highly recommend Malecon21 for the superb food, service and ambiance.
