“Without a doubt, after driving from Tulum, the best place in Mahahual to stay, eat VERY good and delicious, and stay on the beach all day. The services and staff are very attentive and the facilities are SUPER, better than the rest, it is safe!!!“

“I was in Mahahual and the food at Crazy Lobster is delicious and affordable for nationals, they provide you with kayaks, good attention from the waiters and supervision from the manager, Mauricio. Congratulations on everything ?

“I didn't expect anything from the place, it was my last option, but when the dishes were served, the generous portion and homemade flavor they had was extraordinary. It met my expectations in price, flavor, portion. The only bad thing about this place, perhaps bad luck at the time, was the high volume of the music in the place.“

“Would love to give this place a 5 star, but the charge to use a credit card was $30 on a $139 bill. I guess the tip was included, I took it that way, so no harm done. The Pastor tacos were the best. Drinks were also great. This restaurant is connected to the golf karts that we rented at the port. They followed me here and corralled me into this place so that I wouldn’t keep going anywhere else. I fell for it, I should have kept driving around since I paid for the all day golf kart. $120.Also, I should have took the taxi cab here for $4, $8 roundtrip instead of the $120, there really isn’t anywhere to go after this place, cause everything is walking distance. The water is clean and there is no big waves, the kids love it.“
“If you like your seafood fresh, tasty and authentic, this restaurant, a block away from the beach, is well worth seeking out in Mahahual. I have eaten there twice already, and look forward to exploring more of their menu during the rest of my stay. The octopus at lunch today was the best ceviche I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a great deal throughout the region in recent years. The menu is only in Spanish, and unlike restaurants along the playa it is not dependent on cruise ship passengers and their generally unadventurous tastes. Almost all customers are Mexican. Service is pleasant and prices are reasonable. Recommended.“

“Stopped here while on a cruise. The service was quick even though they were really busy. We didn't have to wait long for a table and were greeted immediately.
There was a decent list of different types of tequila to choose from, and food was great.
Beautiful surroundings, fun music, excellent service ?“

“It was worth the walk from the center of the beach I didn't want to stay at a place where cab drivers were dropping people off from the port and decided to walk along the beach until I found Chunky Monkey. Great thing is that they don't charge per chair (like other beach clubs), so you can order some food and/or drinks and lounge around as long as you wish (make sure to have your towel).
I had the best guacamole there, no kidding! Super fresh, it was fantastic, the kind of guacamole I expect to try in Mexico. I asked for mezcalita, and to my surprise they didn't know what it was, I had to explain. Paid $40 for 2 drinks and guacamole, including tip. Not too cheap by mexican standards bit I'm sure cheaper than other places that were packed with tourists.
They have outlets all over which is very helpful but wifi wasn't working when I was there.“

“An excellent place where you can eat delicious food!
I visited them at the end of April and I loved it.
The ingredients are quality, the flavor is very rich, the portions are well proportioned and the price is quite affordable for what they offer.
The attention from Paco was excellent, always attentive to what we needed.
It is a restaurant that I recommend 100%.“

“The best fish cerviche ever! 1 plate was enough for 3 people to easily share. They include a light green sauce on the side for those who like it spicy! Deliciously hot! Service was a bit slow, but they were packed busy with 3 cruise ships in Port simultaneously. Everyone was very friendly and it was absolutelu beautiful there! A quick taxi trip from the cruise port and for $8/pp“

“Very good place on the beach in Mahahual. Very delicious food: tacos and somewhat sophisticated toasts. Everything was delicious except the salmon, which wasn't very fresh. Very good service and they don't charge you extra to be there.“

“An amazing small family restaurant. Coffee, tea or water is complementary to the food. Prices are excellent balanced to value. Everything is well made, tastes delicious and looks amazing. As a guest you are king and queen here. Other restaurants don't show this service. We had pancake con nutella y platano, huevo mexicana, and huevos motuleños.Can only recommend, will come again.“

“Excelente atención de Dayana. Un lugar tranquilo y relajante. La música de fondo, excelente. Solo sugiero no agregar la propina en el ticket. Pues eso como que condiciona el servicio. El primer día que fuimos no nos sentimos bien atendidos, ni supimos el nombre del mesero; el segundo día, Dayana, de lo mejor. Con gusto le damos propina.“
“We weren't staying at the hotel but wanted to go somewhere special for the last night of our Honeymoon before returning to Sydney. What an amazing experience! Food and service were fantastic. Loved the Shrimp Ceviche with coconut milk, chia and green apple in particular. They had a live acoustic set which gave the venue a beautiful ambiance. So nice we came back for breakfast the following day. Hope to visit again soon“

“We came here from an excursion through our cruise. The staff at this restaurant goes above and beyond. They explained everything, found us chairs on the beach with some shade, brought us food and unlimited drinks, and were so friendly. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were always taken care of. Out of our 3 excursions, this was my favorite! We laid on the beach, went into the ocean, had massages. Vendors came by selling things, and they were all very polite without being pushy. The beach was not too crowded as well, as it's about a 10 minute drive from the port. Highly recommend coming here!“
“We had a group of 12 ladies from age 20s to 50s (mothers and daughters). We were a little nervous with having to arrange transportation from the cruise port, but just outside the port we found the cab stand and a helpful attendant got us all quickly into a large cab together for $4 each and we arrived at Nohoch Kay about 12 minutes later. We were immediately greeted by our phenomenal host Yorbing who showed us to our beautiful beach site with comfy chairs and lots of privacy. He served us the most delicious giant tray of Shrimp, fish, guacamole, ceviche and chips immediately, and got the drinks flowing with super smooth tequila shots all afternoon! We also ordered unlimited quesadillas, tacos, etcetera for lunch and all were very tasty. Yorbing took amazing care of us and arranged our cab back to the ship seamlessly. We all agreed it was a perfect beach day!“

“Walked over from the cruise terminal with a small group. We tried an assortment of all the foods and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Great spot to grab some drinks and spend a few hours away from the cruise crowds. Staff are all fantastic and it feels like you're being welcomed in as part of the family. This is the absolute best thing about stopping at Costa Maya and my number one priority any time I am in town. 6/5 stars.“
