I thought this place would be great cause there are not many reviewers or doesn’t seem to be a tourist spot. Obviously I was right! The food was so amazing

This place was hard to find since Google has very little information on it, such as saying it’s only open 10pm-12pm Fri-Sat (it is closed Saturdays, and otherwise open 9am-3pm and 6pm-midnight Sun-Thursday, and open only in the daytime on Fridays). When we did find it, however, it was soooo worth it.I believe it’s beef barbacoa that they do, which is like the milder, fattier version of birria…and they do it really, really well. The meat is supple and dripping with fat, melting nicely into the double tortillas. The consommé is rich and overflowing with meat. We honestly ordered too much, since we thought 2 tacos at 20MXN each and one consommé at 75MXN would be a good snack for two.We severely underestimated. For 115MXN, or $7USD, we got two decent tacos and a pint of consommé, complete with a bag if super spicy salsa verde, four like wedges, and a stack of 8 extra tortillas to assemble our own tacos with. We weren’t that hungry, but we ate it all with vigour.Very great value for the price, and a very authentic little hole in the wall run by a charming and friendly family. Wasn’t busy when we got there, which still confuses me as to why.I blame Google.
