Fantastic bar with great vibe.
Nice change from Playacar.
Super music.
And the best staff and owner who did his best to try and teach me to dance! :-)
Just exactly what we wanted from a bar in Mexico.

It is a fun place to stop in and have beer, tacos, and more beer and more fun.

Worst customer service and food I've had in Mexico in awhile. All meat was super dry, hardly anything I would pay twice the going rate for tacos. I ordered veggie and they served me chicken and forced me to pay for it. The server swears I ordered chicken yet I was speaking English and many times she had me repeat things because she's Spanish, so how can she say I ordered chicken when I didn't and English is her second language? Like I said, horrible customer service. Would never recommend this place.
Update: Wow now they are trying to lie again!! I can not believe this place. I left the chicken untouched and repeated asked for my veggie taco which they wouldn't serve me unless I paid for another one. They say I ate all the food. Wow, honestly such liars here. I stand with worst customer service around. I mean, a taco costs very little especially veggie. And your going to force me to pay for something like this when you got the order wrong. It's very upsetting that any restaurant would defend itself in this way with a bunch of dishonest information.
I stand with the food was over cooked and dry. It was absolutely horrible. I ate it only because I was starving and haven't eaten all day. But I did not eat the chicken I requested for a return.
I don't drink beer but my friends and wife do. They love this little bar and claim it's one of the top 3 small places in town to relax.

Tourist trap.No way to know the price before you pay. They gave me a dead beer, I refused to pay and they just overcharged everything else. It's the only option here so be prepared for overpriced food, low quality "craft" beers and be overcharged.

Different craft beers, the bartender took my likes and made me a surprise cocktail. It was super delicious especially because I love guava juice! The pastor tacos and quesadilla were a huge hit, DELICIOUS! Beware, the red sauce is very spicy but good if you like spice. Get out of the resort and try this local hot spot.

We were there in September of 2023 for our wedding in October 2023. We had such a blast! These people treated us so well and made the most amazing food and memories. We’ll be back in August and hope to see the same faces!

Hey! Are you staying at Riu Playacar? Take one night away from the resort (at least) and go here. The vibes are immaculate, the beer is spectacular, the service is top shelf. Your whole tab is paid at Riu, spend some money with locals and have a good time. It's literally across the street.

Had a great time getting off the boring resort and coming here. Jorge made us the best cocktails. Great atmosphere! So happy we stopped here. Will most definitely come back and highly suggest everyone make this a stop while in playacar

They were rude, the beer was bad and he had the worst service attitude. I'm a neighbor and I encourage you not to go there ever.

Awful. Since no one was waiting on the tables, we went to the bar to order food and drinks and once everything was ready, we took it to the table. Some tacos with just a few cubes of dry chicken for $40 each. Coca Cola Zero in a small container, the kind used for mixed drinks, not table drinks. At the time of paying, there was a 5% surcharge on the card, which according to their accounts, for that drink, 5% was $70... since we refused, the answer was that we could pay in Mexican $ "which are available anywhere part of the world and it's what you should bring if you come here." Is it really necessary to treat tourists like this? That is the image of Mexico and the Mexicans that they want to offer?? I will definitely return and recommend not going. Anywhere else you will eat better, cheaper and they will treat you with respect. The best recommendation I can offer is DON'T GO!!

Worst tacos and service I’ve had in playa. They have the right location so that’s all they got going. Staff are super unfriendly and make it obvious they don’t care about service. Food was super bland and boring! Ordered 3 chicken tacos and 1 pastor. Chicken was unflavoured and dry. Nothing else on it. Everything was cold as well. There are way better places to eat! Literally anywhere lol.

I visit this place regulary for 8 years (exept covid time)... This was a nice place! All prices exposedStill remember price listToday: no price list; I expected to get a pint (573 ml) as usual. What I got ? -330 ml . Price (to my best memory ) - at leats 30% higher (I mean for a pint for the last year)This is your a personal choice, but prices got up more, much more than 2 timesFood? Nachos - a several chips plus processed chees (up to 30% from last year. No problem - this your choice.. inflation...Service: could be much , much, much better..Bill? Forget. Just a calculator from the waitress and sum of money dispaled on the screen - to be paid without questionsThis was my last visitYour choiceThis was a bit agressive respond (see above)Price situation compared with X-mas time 2022 (a bit more then one year)There was no sign of bill..I just was going to share my negative experienceThis is your businessBut there is a BUT:I was rude 65 years ago with my parents being silly boy (still ashamed for this) This "blame" is a pure case of insulting and dishonesty. Can I expect apologies?Let's follow universal idea: "Honesty is the best policy"
