Very bad experience. One of the people who attended was very rude in his treatment. Unfortunately the power went out while we were eating and when it was time to pay the bill they refused to charge us with the terminal that was working, they wanted the payment to be in cash and for us to leave the cell phone while we went to the ATM. When we refused, they agreed to charge us only 100 pesos from the terminal and the rest they demanded in cash, claiming that it was not their problem. You can tell that they wanted to keep the cash since the terminal did work. The truth is I would never go back, terrible experience.

A lot a restaurants on this avenue can seem sketchy but I genuinely liked this place so much I chose to go back again another day in my one week in Playa Del Carmen. That’s not something I would generally do on travels. Food is very well priced and the servings are certainly substantial. Have the “Mexican Plate” if you’re a hungry duo looking to try some varied nice stuff. Made me feel bad sitting here with no one else in the restaurant at 7pm because it’s so delicious and folks were passing thinking it’s just another plain restaurant.

2 house mezcal shots $32 dollars. Rip off central. Avoid this place.

Check your tickets, out of nowhere they add an extra amount, apart from when paying they were told that there was a percentage of commission and they charged it double!!!
On the other hand, very expensive for what it is…

Awesome little stop in the shade. Nice fountain feature kept the kids occupied as well. Mojitos were perfect as were the margaritas. 2for1 happy hour was sweet! Guacamole FRESH!!!

Average food, well charged prices with everything and tip, Bip Bip has been around for years but has not reached its level of competition. The best thing it has is the neighbor's musical atmosphere, you would think three times or more to return

Only came for drinks as a group, however waitstaff were rude when trying to pay them, wouldn’t recommend.

By far one of the worst experiences I've had!!!! I don't even like to leave reviews and I've decided to take some time so that other people specially from the states (mainly ones that eat there) don't experience the same.just because we don't have much knowledge of the area. The menu looks tempting and had a wide variety and that's what I gravitated to. It was a variety of bad tasting food. The told my son his plate was a seabass when it was clearly tilapia. Uncooked at that. For my other son and I we order a plate for 2 that consists of skirt steak,porkshops,chicken , chorizo and beans. Every single item was from what I can tell frozen and cooked a bit. Many areas were cols and chewy. Very tasteless amd just gross. It literally made me throw up. They told me that they will cook me another steak and fish and t that point it would have been my fault if I agreed. There's no way this place still in bussines and people actually spend their hard earn money. The other customers looked very disappointed but they expressed to me that they just wokt eat there again and fear something happened if they spoke up. I am Hispanic and didn't have a problem doing so and even then they didn't give me a break on the price. I will dispute charges with my bank STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY!!!!!

Restaurant with good prices. Good things: the waiter was friendly, and they give free tortilla chips as a starter.Bad things: they basically force you to pay a 15% tip, the pizza is very bad and the place is not very nice.
