Food is a bit hit or miss. Some dishes are fantastic (beef kabobs), some are so so (eggplant dip flavor was mediocre and cauliflower dish is a bit overcooked even though the flavor was excellent). Pita chips are too hard here.
Service is fantastic. My little one was super tired and fell asleep. I asked for the dishes to come out faster and they literally got to the table in 5-10 minutes. And offered towel and pashmina to keep her warm when she took a snooze at the restaurant.
During some nights, it can get very breezy here. Maybe best during lunch time.
The theme is Lebanese tapas. The burgundy by the glass was solid but need to wait for it to warm up from refrigerated temperature for the aroma to blossom.

Staying at the fairmont and tried this restaurant because we were looking for a different option than the buffet, which on my opinion is not up to fairmont standards.The service was terrible. Took 25 minutes to get a glass of orange juice. One of our orders came out totally wrong. The yogurt parfait came 10 minutes after everyone got their food. Would not reccomend if you are expecting fairmont quality food and service.

We came for lunch and it turned out to be the best meal we had at Mayakoba. We got the fried fish and a salad with chicken plus churros for dessert. The restaurant was beautiful and our waiter was wonderful. I definitely recommend the fried fish which was our waiter’s recommendation.

Overpriced and tasteless! Other ratings appear to be for different menu with fish. See attached menu of tapas. My wife got there before i did since I was getting boarding passes. She ordered patatas bravas and falafel with glass of wine. Patatas bravas were a few glorified potato squares with no sauce or aioli. I took single bite... tasteless. Never had such tasteless patatas bravas (my favorite was in Nashville tapas bar). Falafel actually had taste. Waiter never asked me what I wanted to eat or drink when I go there. I intended to have a drink. After her 56 usd food. Went to hix bar/restaurant for food n drink
