Cafetería y Pizzería Bella Ciao

We went to this place because have seen always people there and the place looks nice but… it took them a long time to take the drink order, the waiter seemed to feel overwhelmed even though it wasn’t full. When they finally brought the drinks they were incomplete and even so the waiter was ready to take the dinner order, it wasn’t going to happen until everyone had their drink. Someone at the table ordered a pasta that said on the menu with pepper, which in the end turned out to be paprika, quite spicy, and the waiter never commented anything knowing that it was for a child. Personally, I ordered a salad and a pretty average pizza.

I would really recommend that Italian restaurant, the food was amazing and the waiters really kind. We came twice there and it was so good.

110 pasos water. That's 9 Canadian dollars. One glass of water!!!! Avoid at all costs (literally)!!! Food was average but nothing to write home about

I think the pizza has great potential.. but the crust is just not there. The crust is very think and flat with little to no flavor. I also got a margarita pizza for take out and it had full size tomato slices as opposed to cherry tomatoes, meanwhile my boyfriend who got a more normal pizza had cherry tomatoes.. I’m used to cherry tomatoes and globs of mozzarella on a margarita pizza. Trattoria Del Centro is right down the street and is much better pizza.

Mediocre food. Awful service. Over priced. TOURIST TRAP. I don't understand the positive reviews of this restaurant, I suspect that they are fake and paid for by the owner because since going here Ive never heard anything but awful reviews from it. Don't bother with this restaurant when there is really a great one literally on the same block. Keep looking people!

Amazing food and service. Ate 7/10 nights there and miss it already. Daniel and Eroin were excellent servers and I appreciated all their hard work. All the staff is great! Can't wait to return

I have not encountered such horrible customer service and food in a long time. Our pizza actually had almost no cheese or sauce on itHere are the details of our horrible experience ordering from Bella Ciao:The owner advertised a special for a large pepperoni pizza for 120 pesos on a sign in front of his place. So, we ordered a large pepperoni pizza, but after we ordered it he tried to charge us 200 pesos in order to eat the pizza there. When we told him that we would not pay an extra 80 pesos to eat the pizza there, he got mad at us. Eventually, one of his staff members handed us our pizza in a box. And, the pizza had almost no cheese or sauce on it---it was just a few slices of pepperoni on a baked crust. It is hard to believe that someone could act like that, but he did.Avoid this place.

My family stopped in here during our visit to Playa Del Carmen. Unfortunately, the pizza we ordered was dry and tasteless. We also felt that the service was not very good. In particular, there was one worker, a middle-aged man, who was a bit rude in the way he treated us.

Authentic Italian pizza! Baked to perfection in genuine brick oven. I highly recommend. Great price and friendly service!

Great Pizza, over 40 different kinds. Owner was very friendly and provided great service. Would like to go back and spend more time trying all the fresh Pizzas and Pastas.

We stopped in here for a pizza after seeing the big pizza oven, but the standout was the pasta! The noodles are all fresh and handmade. We had the fettuccine with Alfredo sauce and shrimp, a diavola pizza and a kids cheese pizza. Also a delicious aperol spritz. The service was super kind and friendly. Now that I know about the freshness of the pastas, I would have skipped the pizza to try the gnocchi!

We shared a pizza and sangria. Excellent food.we both really enjoyed. Excellent friendly waiter!! We would come back again!

Wow I really cannot believe how rude the (I assume) owner is. Ive never in my life been spoken to so condesending. Coffee extemely average and cold, let that go as its super hot today and I just dont care. Went to use the bathroom and was dressed down by an ununiformed man for not "asking in his house" possibley mentally ill. I assume owner as the lovely woman who served me (who I was walking towards to ask after the restroom) didnt say anything. Terrible experiance, didnt expect to have someone raise their voice at me getting coffee. STAY AWAY

The dough was rich but the sauce and cheese were too little in quantity or for half the size of the pizza, bad service you enter and have to look for someone to serve you, very dirty bathrooms, I asked for a glass and it was dirty too, the promo It turned out to be takeout only and in your ad you don't specify that, they never put napkins on the table, they don't offer sauces or anything, maybe they don't have, very precarious experience
