Very nice place to dine with family or couple.
The food is super good value for money and the staff is very attentive.
The bad :( they tend to change the food. The first time I loved the octopus salad and the second time I went the recipe was a little different and I didn't like it as much, I gave it a third chance and it changed the flavor too haha

Amazing food comes out in great coarse and the gnocchi is definitely their best dish, and their strawberry smoothie is great. My family and I had a great experience watching the Olympics with no volume and some nice music and a/c was nice and cool! Definitely best Italian in Playa.
Vegetarian options: A lot of great Veggies!
Dietary restrictions: Great with allergy’s, and being gluten free.
They understand cross contamination and keep you updated on the progress of how they separate it. Also you see into the kitchen so you know what’s up in there.
Parking: Only a few spots right next to the entrance, and a lot of space in a shared parking lot below
Kid-friendliness: Has a place for the kids to play while the adult talk and wait for the food. Great play place for the kids!

Not sure why this place is so busy, maybe location and few Italian restaurants around. Waiters were good, but the food ranged from OK to awful, nothing good.
Starters,
Spanish ham, had been sliced and plated hours if not days before serving, was welded to the plate and dry.
Calamari, 90% batter and calamari was like an elastic band.
Smoked salmon, OK.
Mains,
Chicken breast, was like cooked skin, waiters were embarrassed. At least it was taken off the bill
Pepperoni pizza, wet.
Rib eye steak, randomly cooked, some bits cold and raw, other bits over cooked. Overall chewy
Ravioli, ok, but an enormous amount of cheese.
Fruti de mari pasta, ok, but crab and prawns were inedible, prob just there for show/flavour
Can’t recommend, sorry

Kid-friendliness: It has options for children, and also an area for entertainment
Wheelchair accessibility: Access is very easy. There are no steps, so there is no struggle to enter with a wheelchair

I've been there twice and each time I regret coming. The food is fine, not amazing. Both times I've visited (Aug 2023, July 2024) the service has been slow and they've been out of multiple items that I wanted to order.
On this recent visit on 20 July 2024, we waited a full 20 minutes (checked my watch) after being seated before the waiter came over and bring bread and oil and took our orders. I even flagged him down once, but he seemed to be very engrossed in what seemed like a personal conversation with the couple at the table next to us. I actually thought for a while that he must not work at Sofia or was off work because he was just hanging out with them for 15 minutes and ignoring us. I also see a review posted before we went that said he sat for 30 minutes with no attention from the staff, I can see that now.
When I ordered they were out of my first 2 options. Then they were out of the wine I wanted. Then they didn't have any cheesecake. I remember when we ordered last August they were out of one of the things we wanted as well.
Each time we leave here we are reminded why we won't come back. The only saving grace is the kids jungle gym play place.

The waiter had terrible treatment at our table, with a terrible attitude and arrogant. Much to improve.

I went to taste their breakfasts and they left a lot to be desired, starting with the terrible service they have, they take a long time, they don't have good management when talking to the customer. As for the food, extremely homemade flavors, super basic, nothing remarkable in the morning, dirty bathrooms and you can't feel the air conditioning! Much to improve

Terrible, I was at the table waiting for someone from the waiters to serve me and no one came to offer me the menu, bad customer service, ?, they seemed classist. I do not recommend it, no stars, waiting for the administrator or owner to put his employees in order or to miss a customer service course. Remember without the client there is nothing.
Excellent restaurant to go with the family! The dishes are delicious, and the space for children is a big plus!
Parking: The parking lot is on a lot located 30 meters west (west) from the restaurant and is spacious. DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT! The police are circling the area like buzzards just to issue fines!
