We were visiting from the US. The food was great, but there were four ladies and we paid $80 for tacos. They seemed to be looking to rip Americans off. Definitely take pesos if you go here. There was over 200 pesos added to the bill for something - not even sure.

First of all I want to say that the food is delicious. Very very rich and the prices are in line with the quality. We went because it is one of the best rated for those criteria. So yes it is highly recommended and with zero pretensions.The bad thing... We arrived late but they still treated us kindly and the waiter was great, until the bill arrived without asking for it because they already had to close. We were sorry and apologized until we realized (obviously about 30 minutes later) that they had charged us 200 extra pesos and we, being stupid, even left a 10% tip on our inflated bill.Check the prices carefully and make sure, despite the rush, that you are paying the right amount.Would I go back? Yes of course. WorthAhhh and they only accept cash!!

Very tasty food. The establishment has no pretensions to the atmosphere, but here the cooking style is open and you can see how your dish is prepared. Everything is clean, tidy, respectful to guests.The staff is friendly and helpful.The best Ceviche I've tried in Playa and Tulum. A small portion is a fairly large plate of seafood marinated to perfection in lime. I think that the portion of "Lage" is at least for two.Delicious tacos and hot dishes.Ideal place with typical Mexican cuisine, cleanliness and friendly staff.

Woo !! What a experience .. such a hidden gem..We tried fish, prawns and veggies tacos.. also the lobster grill.. everything was truly amazing. We got to choose the lobster and it was prepared right away in front of us.The service is amazing, the recommendations are spot on.Truly enjoyed the Mexican flavors and local dining experience.Lobster is must must try here..

Friendly and relaxed place out of main street with great price/quality mix.Had really tasty tacos with shrimps at a reasonable price. Service is personal and is one of the few places in PDC where you don't feel being treated like a walking cash dispenser...beware, they close at 8pm and accept only cash.

We had Chicken Tinga tacos and Mixed fajitas. Plus two Coronas. As a starter they brougjt some tortilla chips with salsa. The starter was a nice touch. For the main dishes I’d give them 4/5. Total was 495 pesos.

If you want seafood they have it. Fresh red snapper or shrimp dishes. We were trying to avoid spicy food and this was a great choice. If you want more spice you add it. Fresh and good.
