Look to the right and you’ll see an entrance to a yoga studio. The vegan restaurant is through there. They didn’t open till 9:30 so we waited at the front coffee bar and had coffee. It was an interesting “third place” for a lot of people that mingle there on a regular basis. I got to meet a few people.

This restaurant/ cafe is incredible. It was the highlight of our trip. All food is made from scratch and tastes fresh and amazing. The portions are great for the price! It’s tucked away in a beautiful jungle like setting with a wonderful coffee shop attached so you can enjoy the best coffee ever, with your meal! You don’t miss out on flavour at this place. Vegans visiting Plays del Carmen rely on Happy Cow ratings. This is a top-rated location and for good reason. The food is exceptional. Local vegans also frequent here (always a good sign!). Co-located with a coffee bar if you're in the mood for caffeine.
