Rave reviews so my wife and I decided to give it a try and our expectations were truly exceeded. From the outside ok but probably a restaurant we would have walked past if not looked up first in the internet. Great, very attentive service! We had a Pina as a cocktail to start with (great - with fresh grated coconut). Starters were Octopus Causa and Seafood Ceviche (we ordered two in fact ;-)) ... As a main Seafood Rice (truly amazing), we shared all ;-) - together with a good Sauvignon Blanc followed by another Pina and two desserts, Choclo Cake and a tart. Given the quality and quantity of the dishes, the bill was more than reasonable! We might be back next week :-) - well done - honestly deserves the rave reviews

Cassa is discretely hidden in old town Playa. The industrial decor & artwork reflects the presentation of the plating. We all enjoyed our fare. We would highly recommend shared plates. The drinks were awesome! The only negative was that it was clearly mentioned that this was for a birthday when the rezo was made. There was NO acknowledgement!!!

Super cute spot w delicious ceviche and other dishes. Loved the tuna tirado and drinks but honestly everything we ordered was fresh and so good. Also super reasonable price. We would definitely come back. It’s off the beaten path but well worth the walk away from 5th ave.

The BEST food we had. Ceviche was delicious, seafood rice was unexpectedly out of this world and desserts to die for. And the cocktails were magical. We went to top restaurants like Casa Amate, Nu Tulum e Kitchen Table and the food here was a dream. Make sure to stop by - attentive and unfussy service. And the artwork is cool too.

Amazing!!! All the ceviches were 10/10. The octopus was soft and the chicken was not over cooked at all. All the sauces were incredible. And the drinks were amazing.

Absolutely amazing. Ambience is fantastic, urban chic and dimly lit. But the food- unbelievable. Best ceviche I’ve had, hands down. And the chicken skewers where perfectly done with a sauce that was rich and flavorful without being too much of a saucy topping. Absolutely be here every visit to PDC.

Place is famous for its ceviche, but it’s actually the lomo tagliatelle which knocked us from our sandals! Super cozy atmosphere and nice drinks.

What a nice spot! The vibe is great, the food absolutely delicious and the staff super friendly. The cocktails (we’ve tried the pisco sour and pisco mule), beef and shrimp anticuchos and the classic ceviche were just perfect. 10/10 would recommend.

A wonderful take on ceviche that brought the flavour of Mexican lime forward to the classic ingredients. Expect a slightly more tart taste on the leche de tigre, and an absolutely enjoyable experience. I was blown away by the creamy/salty combo of the saltado beef with fresh pasta. Combine with playful cocktails for a wonderful meal.

This hard to find restaurant has amazing and unique ceviches. We started with the Octopus Causa that was delightful. The ceviche trinity with seafood, Mayan and an Asian inspired one were all delicious. Staff is super chill and friendly. Worth a walk off 5th Avenue for some stellar, fresh Peruvian inspired food.

I thought the place was very nice. The decoration is nice and it has A/C inside. There are also several tables outside.

I also really liked the service, it was fast and friendly. As soon as I asked if the golden tacos were vegan ? they immediately explained to me that they were made with oil, just like the beans.

They offer bread with jam as a courtesy before the food arrives (they can be without butter), and they also brought tortilla chips and tortillas. The portions are medium/small and that complements it.

I ordered the vegan golden potato taquitos ($85 MXN), and a green juice ($50 MXN). Everything is very rich.

Of the four sauces I only tried the two that did not have mayonnaise. Very rich. The dark one stings more than the green one.

The portions could be larger.

Yes I would return, and I recommend the place. I think they close at 3:30 pm.
