Very good tacos for a low price. My recommendation: Quesabirria Tacos!

Tacos and service were good. We had accederá tacos (steak). Parking on the street was easy. do note there were like 4 total taco stands and you only see the name of el compa from the inside (or side walk side). I’d go again when in the area. For 8 tacos and 3 drinks, we paid $295 pesos.

Great service. A small food stand you can easily overlook but until now the best tacos we had so for - especially the birria! The prices are a hit as well. We especially liked the great choice of toppings.
Unassuming taco stand that attracts a crowd and for good reason. As you walk by the Mega you’re drawn in by the aromatic scent of slow-cooked meat, broth, and aromatic spices. Not soon after you’ll be enjoying the rich, flavorful birria meltin’ in ya mouf.
The experience of eating good birria on the streets of Playa isn’t just about the food though.. but enjoying the atmosphere. Enjoy the delicious birria surrounded by the vibrant sounds and sights of the street and, if you’re a gringo like me, you’ll hear the word “güero” thrown around a lot.

Terrible service. It's the second time I've gone and they don't have any organization. The first time I thought it was because so many people attended. This time there weren't as many and the staff were fighting among themselves. Not serving customers because of their anger. And without coordinating the grill. Without coordinating orders. Etc. They should ensure that they have attentive staff and that they leave their quarrels outside the workplace.

Without a doubt I am a very demanding customer, I am passionate about gastronomy and it is difficult to find good places in Playa del Carmen and this is one of the places that I love, it is my favorite place for Mexican food in Playadel Carmen, I have been coming for almost 5 years and The quality remains the same or even better, not like other places that over the years lose their touch and lower their quality and become more expensive because they became famous. EL COMPA, on the contrary, has good music, and they even put little tables for you to sit at and the guys are always very friendly. I have Jewish friends who go there to eat even though they don't have to because of their religion, because their quesadillas are so good. Hahaha.

The broth is very good, the birria tacos are excellent and their sauce is ufff, very spicy and I eat fire. The bad thing is that they are very slow to talk to each other when there are women and children.
